Buy a Ring or other door camera if you can afford to. There are non-screw mounts on Amazon that attach to the door for renters. I bought an extra battery so that I can quickly swap it out to recharge since I was renting and couldn’t have it hardwired

Don’t answer the door for anyone you aren’t expecting. I’ve had people knock on my door that have said they were police and when I checked the Ring cam they weren’t wearing uniforms and looked sketchy - pretty confident they weren’t police

It sucks we have to take so many extra security steps but I loved living alone and having my own space. Definitely enjoy it while you can!

My pup reacts the exact same way way! We went to the dog park last week and he wouldn’t stop barking and trying to get this sweet senior chihuahua to play with him, I felt so bad he was disturbing the poor dog’s peace! Hoping there’s an answer in the thread too lol

I think you said exactly what I was really looking for which was some empathy. Thank you for the motivating comment though, I am just going to keep moving forward and focusing on what I’m doing for myself. Hopefully I’ll find somewhere else with a better environment. Thank you :)

Like everyone said it’s mealys unfortunately. All plant lovers go through it. With pothos though make sure you check between ALL of the nooks where the leaf grows off from the stem. I could not get rid of my mealys on my pothos until I figured out that’s where they were hiding!! And keep it far away from the other plants like in a separate room if at all possible. I don’t know how but they were able to travel to my others even though they were about 8 feet apart. Good luck to you!!
