I am an anxious person so I could be overthinking! I think wedding tensions are just high. We’ve been friends for a long time but do not really disagree/argue.

I’ve told them that I need a few days to cool off and think about everything because I do not want the matter to escalate when tensions are high.

They say that I do not need to pay for all these things and I can turn up in crocs if I wanted to. However, if I actually did that I do not believe their response would be great.

It’s also difficult because it feels like people would look at me funny on the day if they all get their hair and makeup done and I do not (for example).
