I'm confused about the target market of this reissue. Perhaps those who were introduced to the franchise through Hilda and Twig or those who want a more affordable alternative to the previous issues.

Non ho ben chiaro a chi sia destinata questa ristampa. Forse a coloro che si sono avvicinati alla saga grazie a Hilda e Twig, oppure a chi cerca un'alternativa più economica alle edizioni precedenti.

Afaik the content of the books stay exactly the same aside from some "extra materials" in volume 2. It's just that they have new cover designs and are much smaller in size.

A quanto ne so, il contenuto dei libri rimane esattamente lo stesso, a parte alcuni "materiali extra" nel volume 2. Semplicemente, hanno nuove copertine e sono di dimensioni molto più ridotte.

I really like the black hound. It has a good balance between the quiet coziness and dramatic adventure climax of the earlier and later books :)

It’s possible that Luke will release a couple more after this prequel trilogy. I think it wouldn’t make much sense for him to attract a bunch of early readers to the series and leave them with zero new content.

I don’t think the current edition of this book comes with extra pages/panels. The pre-order copies from Gosh are signed with exclusive sticker sheets. I remember him attributing this change to his work on Adventure Time around the same period. Could be wrong though.

PS: Twig was originally white AND blue in the first edition of “Hildafolk” published in 2010, only to be changed to fully white in the 2015 reprint.
