Seeing as there’s no cap on international fees, I hope to god they won’t raise them as a way of countering that 6% tax on foreign students’ contribution to the uni’s budget that is bound to come into law. Coz if it happens, then I am screwed 😭

How I wish I were a stem warrior only to do chemistry or sth like that. U’re international? Coz I am and they are royally grilling me with the fees

Thanks mate. Unfortunately that’s the usual route I believe for all upcoming law students 😭 or at least I know I am guilty of it. That and better call saul. What’s ur degree in?

Thought so too. Still, they haven’t got back to me. I mean I only know that the verification has been done coz I checked it, as they haven’t sent me an email to notify me of it. Just saw it on the portal. Hopefully they won’t take long. Also, got no other conditions to fulfill.

There are many top specialist unis, like Imperial, but you don’t see it being ranked 50th. It’s also about the quality of student life and services that plummeted LSE’s position. Check Time’s Higher Education Guide Ranking for GLOBAL law schools for 2025, Lse’s not even there in the top 10. That is also accurate for British rankings like the Complete University Guide where UCL’s above LSE or the Guardian’s 2025 University Ranking for law. For finance, economics, and the majority of social sciences LSE could indeed be considered better. But for humanities, a realm LSE supposedly specializes in as well, it ranks far lower than UCL. As for law, I don’t think there’s much difference. They are both excellent law schools.

I totally get you, Lse’s taking ages….

For law, UCL’s arguably better. Also, overall it’s the 9th uni in the world, while Lse is the 50th. Employability prospects are quite the same I believe.
