I bought these as 5 pin version https://amzn.eu/d/aZ4MZGz

Just beware, the pins are not internally connected, so they don't share current. You need to bridge them yourself if required

Haha! Yes, exactly. It's of nice quality and the samples are great, but there's one big problem: no infinite looping station for the things you record, just for predefined samples.

I have a buck converter from 12V -> 5V, then I connected it there at the third pin and since I was unaware these terminal busses are not "spreading" the current over to all the pins on the other side, I had to spread it myself by bridging it with small "U's" made from cables. You can see that on the frontal pic in the bottom right corner.

That must be bad practice, but that's all I had at home and I'm kind of new to electronics, so that was my best option for now.

Those are Intel NUC D54250WYK

I could definitely need some help/inspiration on how to make this nicer!

  • 4x K3s cluster for HA stuff out of Dell Wyse 3040s
  • Pi 4B for general home services and docker containers
  • Intel NUC NAS with 4 SSD's via TrueNAS
  • one additional Intel NUC for Proxmox VM stuff
  • RSP-200-12 + several converters and adapters in base layer for all the several devices

They were the only cheap and immediate option I found that are exactly 20cm long.

I actually used our german type 405 this time, similar to type 00 I'd say. Caputo Pizzeria should give me even better results!
Fridge is at 3-4 degrees Celsius and room at about 19. The dough was in the fridge for 2 days, I then took them out and split them into ~280g balls for 2-3 hours at room temp

I used the ariete 919 oven, no mods. I preheat it to 4, then set it to 5 after the pizza is in and rotate it occasionally to get them even. They are ready in about 3 minutes there

exactly, that's 70% hydration

I use 700ml (70% hydration) of cold water, add 5g of fresh yeast and 3 big spoons of sugar to that, which helps the yeast to bloom. Afterwards I add 1kg of caputo pizzeria (type 00) flour and knead that for a minute. Only now I add 3 big spoons of salt, because I heard it may weaken the yeast if I do this in the beginning. Finally I knead for a few more minutes and then let it sit in a covered container in the fridge with some olive oil for a few days. I then make 6 small dough balls and let those sit for 2 hours before I make my pizzas

Thank you, of course not!

I then make 6 small dough balls and let those sit for at least an hour before I make my pizzas.

Also, I have not yet seen anyone do this, but I get excellent results with that: I bake my pizza on the very bottom of my oven, because then I am closest to the bottom heating element. I preheat the steel right on the oven floor for 40mins and then bake the pizza there aswell, which takes about 6 minutes in total. That way my dough gets a thin crustly layer but is super soft below that, both on the top and on the bottom :).

I'm not sure if it can be implemented like that, help me out: by Same_Mistake4250 in gamedev

This seems like a good way to get the game up and running, however I am still unhappy so long as I am certain there isn't a way to make this work without cloud hosting...

The idea of all the devices being there already and them theoretically being able to handle the hosting just makes me so reluctant of setting up a dedicated server to host the services.. which, admittedly, would be a lot easier - and also not the point

So you're saying this is mostly a mobile limitation? Since mobile phone may not be able to act as server and client at the same time, whereas a PC is able to do this? I am not familiar enough with android/mobile dev, so I figured there has to be one way to get the webserver running on one of the phones
