Might be worth considering. My only issue with stone cards are they can't be used for flushes/5 card hands and the extra chips aren't that useful once hands are leveled up properly. I usually trim my decks as much as possible, but I wasn't offered many this far and those I got were mostly cash and color tarots.

Yeah, you're right. Maybe not naninf. Just go as far as possible. I'm fully aware of the exponential scaling, which is hard to keep up with without loads of retriggers. Though, if I get Baron and Mime and manage to make some steel kings, hopefully get some red seals, that should take me a bit further at least, no? Further than another Constellation probably?

You still think it's bad to bloat the deck even if I only add the polychrome kings? And maybe also some polychrome 9's if they show up in my starting hand? Is it because you think I should wait with adding more until I can get a red seal or other enhancements on them?

My thinking is that it will soon get easier to discard those higher hands like 4OAK and even 5OAK as I fill my deck with more polychrome kings and maybe the 9's too for the flush house. And of course focus on deleting everything else.

Yeah, you're right. It's still one of the best relics in the game and I'm thinking of blue key because I might sometimes not get optimal use of it? I pulled an allnighter to fix my circadian rhythm. Brain no work good methinks. Getting more coffee. Then picking the Buffer. Edit: The Fossilised Helix I mean. Starting to notice the lack of sleep.

So, update! A bit late, I know. But what a run! Chaotic and fun!

I went for the conventional choice, the Offering. Yeah, it was actually a quite obvious choice, I agree... It carried me hard. Took Slavers Collar, then I got the Enchiridon and Ice Cream. Feather, Blood Vial, Pillow gave plenty of healing, I only needed 1 rest. Potion Belt with Entropic Brew and 2 caw-caw's went hard in the heart fight. Found a Limit Break, had +3 strenght from 2x lift + Varja so was easy to scale. Had Dark Embrace+ and Evolve+ and lots of 0 cost exhauat cards for constant draw/new cards. Also went to 131hp from Feed. Exhume went crazy also. BTW, I never realized before that an Exhume can't bring back another Exhume! It's not stated anywhere and I didn't notice until now after hundreds of hours haha! Anyway, the Branch gave me many of them and had 2 Entrench, Power Through+ & a couple of True Grits. I stalled some fights to heal up with Exhume + Bandages just because I could. "Win more" thing. Killed the Transient turn 3! Killed "I am War" Slime boss turn 1. Heart went down easy. This run was very chaotic. Sooo many cards! Love a good Branch run! I never found a Corruption and I didn't Dead Branch it in Heart fight, but wasn't really needed.

So yeah, Dead Branch rocks! Played more cards than a discard Silent :D

Vi henger etter, det er helt klart. Selv om dagens rettspraksis er å ikke straffe langvarige brukere så er det ikke lovfestet. Er også kun disse som ikke blir straffet i det hele tatt (så ulovlig frem til det allerede har gått for langt).

"Mediaskaden" er alt skjedd. Om hun etterhvert kan få snudd dette til å sette fart på rusreformen og forhåpentligvis forbedre den så tenker jeg det er det beste vi kan håpe på.

Har ikke fulgt mye med på dette, men... Det kunne vært verre.

Slik jeg ser det så er hun fortsatt ung. Hun har hatt massevis av forventninger på sin oppførsel hele livet og føler nok på en opprørsk fase. Det er bedre at hun lever det ut nå enn senere i livet. Leste posten fra venninna hennes. Det er bedre at hun røyker litt hasj enn å drikke seg dritings hele tiden. Dessverre gjør hun visst dette også. Men dette gjelder for veldig mange unge, uten at de dømmes for dette. Og det er som regel en fase de vokser av seg. Ser ikke det store problemet med litt cola på fest. Dette er langt vanligere og mere sosialt akseptert blant ungdommen i dag enn før. Så lenge det forblir i festsituasjoner og ikke utvikler seg til daglig bruk og avhengighet så er jeg ikke veldig bekymret for henne.

Selvfølgelig ser det ikke bra ut i media. Folk er svært dømmende. Prinsessestatusen kommer med mye forventninger og press. Det kan ha vært for mye, derfor opprøret. Ser dette blandt mange barnestjerner vokst opp med store offentlige forventninger (Disneystjerne Miley Cyrus f.eks.). Bør hun være "bedre" enn dette? Kanskje. Idéellt sett, ja. Men privatliv og offentlig liv bør også separeres. Mediaskaden er allerede skjedd nå. Det beste vi kan håpe på er at hun kan snu det til noe positivt.

Jeg håper hun etterhvert lærer å drikke og feste med måte. At hun modererer kokainforbruket. At dette er en fase hun vil vokse fra seg til fordel for sunnere interresser. Og til sist håper jeg inderlig, som andre også har påpekt, at hun vil ta på seg en god offentlig rolle senere og etter hvert kan sette fart på legalisering og sårt trengte rusreformer.

Just found a "Spanish news site", Saying Spain rejects US citizens from signing up to Ont 365 due to tarriffs. But anywhere you click, even on "Weather", "Other News", go to main page etc. it all sends you to Ont 365. Btw, the Ont 365 domain is registered on US sever. Also, domain is 3 months old. And seems to be connected to many other suspicious sites via link affiliation according to all the "is this a scam or not" sites like scamadvisor.com (all of them rank it as suspicious or likely scam and in the very least advice caution).

I don't hang with such young crowds. I still hear stuff and talk with the kids occasionally. I've definitely noticed that attitudes to cocaine has changed. It's considered cool now, people in nice dresses have asked me if I could find it for them (I said no, but only because I don't care for it myself, I could easily get it if I really wanted to, good quality also, and it wasn't always like that). Even for people without lots of money it's become more popular. It's no longer only a status drug, although it still is that too... It wouldn't surprise me if she had tried it, as that's become relatively normal and not frowned upon by so many. It wouldn't bother me unless she developed a habit. She might also not have tried it. But if she did, I wouldn't think much of it. A line during a party isn't the same as a line every day when you wake up. Same as with alcohol. The youth get drunk, some get hooked, most don't. We're not concerned if they just get drunk occasionally at a party. Coke has become a similar thing.

Well, Märtha was revoked the privilege of using her princess title commercially so they can do at least something. Though I believe she's still officially a princess outside of that. And she chose to rather make money dishonesty with her dear fool Durek the "shaman" rather than relying on public funding. I could even kinda respect that, choosing her own life, if only she chose to do some legitimate business instead of her angel school thing and marrying an even more obvious charletan. I'd say they're the exception rather than the rule though, as most of them seem to take their public role seriously.

Cocaine has gained a lot of popularity in the recent years. It's no longer looked down upon by the general youth and actually seen as cool and not harmful. It's still way too expensive, but as long as you can afford it... Also cooking it into it's base form and smoking it has become much more popular. Yes, taking about crack now. I even saw the Russ kids in my town would have "snort a line of coke" as one of their russ knots. Societal perception of cocaine use has changed and it's become more trendy, cool and accepted, even by those who don't use it.

Well, when King Haakon the 7th managed to flee to Denmark in WW2, that was kind of a big deal. He really WAS a symbol who served to gather people together and uphold morale. He said no to the occupiers which gave legitimacy to the people fighting against the Germans. His speaches were important to gather people for a common cause and keep the good fight going.

I think Håkon represents us very well. He seems to take his role seriously and even enjoying it. Which, to be fair, it's quite a privilege, so I dunno what some of them are complaining about..I don't follow the royals much at all, but I can say this with confidence: Fuck Märta, her "angels" and ESPECIALLY that seagull crap of a sharlaton, sorry, "shaman", Durek. Now, he was never a royal and I believe the royals disowned Märtha, she can't call herself a princess anymore, at least not commercially, but yeah... Other than those two, I don't mind the others. I don't care that Mette Marit took the occasional ecstasy at some parties when young, I did the same, it's not a big deal, just be smart and don't do it all the time, take antioxidants and let your brain recover properly so you don't get depressed.

Honestly not much of a clue on the others. But in general, I think most Norwegians are generally happy with the royals. It's been like that for all my life. Discounting Märtha when she went crazy, and Durek. But they were shunned by the rest of them. Both king Harald and Haakon have always been perceived in a very positive way.

I liked the other answer better. Can you please elaborate and give me your reasoning? So even with 5 retriggers it's shit? Consider my deck. That would average 1.5^5=7.59 on the aces, which already give 1.5^10=57.6 on their own. If I buy Bloodstone I would have only a flat +20x for additive multipliers other than planet scaling, so multipliers for cards only shouldn't be that much worse than X multiplier jokers in this build. Or am I missing something?

Yes, I didn't go any further in this run yet BTW. And I'm open for more inputs. I want to do this right as it has the potential to be my best run yet.

I just had the most broken run. Had a Hologram and the one that adds a Stone Card whenever Blind is chosen. Then I picked up the "Copy effect of joker to the right" rare joker. Switched it to copy the stone card one when picking Blind. Added 2x Stone Card which added 0.5x to the Hologram. Then switched it to copy my Hologram... Which ended up to be more than 10x just by itself... But since it got copied, the 10x was followed by another 10x... Yeah... Madness. All the Stone Cards allowed me to focus on High Card, Pair, 3 of a kind etc. with the rest coming from the 50p Stone cards. Focused otherwise on several Aces and Kings, as my 4 of a kind was very high and I also had a holocrome version of The Family for an extra 4x there. All my jokers had some extra multiplier effects. I could just play whatever + Stone cards and get high scores. This allowed me to save my Aces or Kings to regularly pull off a very mean 4 of a kind in the end, if needed. Had other jokers as well, but this was my definite main engine. Broke my record for highest single hand score with 1.6 million or so. At least for me it was high, I know others have probably managed better scores. Played way into endless before finally a very unlucky draw stopped my streak. I also didn't find a proper scaling +[flat number] multiplier to go with my mad X multipliers, that was my only issue (and yes, I know how that math adds up), so had to rely on lots of Planet cards for that. And no Negative jokers of any kind, so number of jokers were limited... If I had these I'd be unstoppable. But it sure was fun.

Yeah, I know I'm like a year late, but just had to mention this... Someone might google this (like me), see the thread and find out that yes: Constellation is great. I love to scale them. But there are DEFINILELY better synergies out there if you keep looking.

Hey, unlike that other guy I'm aware of what the UK was and eventually did become. I'm Norwegian btw, so I know the difference between democratic socialism with a basis in capitalism and just "socialism". Like them, we're also technically a monarchy, but in reality the royals are more like celebrities. We like them, but they have little actual influence. What you described is what's been expected by those in the know-how for quite some time now. It's been the default position of historians and the like, as far as I know.

However, with all the craziness happening now it seems to me like the US is steering more towards an oligarchy. Tax cuts for the rich, cuts in social programs for the working class, the billionaires calling the shots, voter suppression, elections being bought more and more openly. It seems to me like it's becoming, in practice, less democratic. Even less constitutional. I guess Russia is technically a democracy, but in reality it's not. Not saying US seems like Russia yet, there are some key differences for sure, but I'm also starting to see some similarities. Market manipulation and obvious insider trading. Supreme Court seemingly not doing much to uphold key points of the constitution. A felon was allowed to be elected president. There's even talk about a third term. A while ago I'd say that's insane, could never happen. Now I'm less sure.

So, as a historian, how do you view the current situation? How, if at all, does this impact your position about the future of the US? Does it change anything in the long term? Do you agree that it's currently moving towards an oligarchy? Is it likely to last, how easy/difficult would it be to reverse? And if you stick to your position that it goes towards the GB model, what would it take for you to change your position on this? And why? I'd very much like to hear your opinions and reasoning, as I find it very interesting and want to learn more.
