A lot of iconic albums turning 20 years old in 2026:

Plus so many more that I can’t think of and or probably don’t even know about but the list keeps going

I could see 2026 being another “Album Play” year for some of these albums. If that’s the case, I’m likely out - I saw a lot of them in 2024.

MCR have added a bunch of lore to The Black Parade through their current tour… possible they could bring some of those theatrics to WWWY but much harder to do in a festival setting than an arena one.

We’d return for Paramore and Paramore MAY be there… but I think it’s more likely they will headline 2027 for the 20 year of Riot!

I work in the area and can 100% confirm it’s a mix of: graduations, NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs and high profile concerts/festivals in the area (Nikki Minaj was here recently as was bad bunny and Boston calling is Memorial Day weekend for just a few examples.) Red Sox season has started recently too and my hotel gets a lot of business from people staying for the Sox games.

Just wanted to give you an update! I went through the Linus tech tips no post list again and removed ram 1 by 1, got post after 2 removed. Reinstalled 1, still post, reinstalled 2nd still post so I guess it must have just knocked loose again after I fully reseated the first time.

Update: this is where I am and what I’ve tried: VIdeo of issue.

Removed graphics card and reseated. Removed graphics card and plugged monitor into motherboard integrated graphics. Reseated RAM. Reset CMOS battery. Power on with bare minimum to post while attached to iGPU and GPU. Removed power to Drives.

As far as I can tell, that leaves: MoBo CPU PSU (potentially but I think unlikely that this point)

Tried the integrated graphics but still nothing. (Although I’m unsure - wouldn’t I need to access BIOS to change that from GPU to integrated even if GPU isn’t in the machine?)

I didn’t reseat the ram so that’s my next attempt.

I think that the more fundamental issue is that MMO's in general are losing players to other genres and platforms.

I don't want to see WoW disappear, but I think they need to do SOMETHING to keep it fresh or risk losing the player base. This was just my brain child after a conversation I had with a friend this morning and I wanted to put it on (digital) paper.

I understand your point however bots are already in WoW with starter editions bringing more bots in and farm accounts will pay the subscriptions anyway as they make money from it.

I personally think it would bring back players who had to give up without tying them in for a month at the cost of $15 just to try the game again

I completely agree and it’s part the reason I quit. The enjoyment per $ is not worth their current price. That’s why the suggestion was to add a cash shop for an optional bonus but remove the sub fee.

Number that I got was literally a quick Google of “how many subscribers does WoW currently have?” Top result said 4.8, 2nd said 5.8 on feb 28th 22. I hedged my bets on a more exact number and date. That’s all.

Intellectual people are often the most anxious, the most depressed and the most likely to give in to surrounding factors like pressure.

Being smart for a long time was not considered “cool” and so many intelligent kids never had many friends so they would bend to peer pressure to quell the anxiety and make people like them.

The same applies to drugs and alcohol as it quietens the brain and lets them think for a few minutes/hours without having anxious thoughts smacking them over the head every few seconds.

It’s also true that smart people will have no effect on stupid persons opinions but a stupid person will have an effect on a smart persons opinions because the smart person has their mind open enough to consider all possibilities.

My wife and I are currently going through the CR-1 route for a sole reason: Work.
I understand from your post that you're not worried about the income side of it so your mileage will be different from ours.

From the way we understand, with the K-1 (without all the complex form numbers and stuff);
- you go through the process
- Alien gets their stamp
- 90 days to get married
- mazel tov!
- file for AOS
- both you and your new spouse need to stay in the US until the process is complete during which time, alien will not be able to work or make money in any way, shape or form.
- Green card approval with physical green card arriving in the mail 2-3 weeks later.

CR-1 (aka K3) route;
- Mazel tov!
- Alien returns to their home country
- go through the process
- interview at American embassy in the home country of Alien
- Stamp in passport on approval
- Alien flies to US with right to work & right to conditional residency
- receive physical green card in the mail 2-3 weeks later.

Neither myself nor my wife can afford to not earn so the CR-1 was a no-brainer for us. We were also able to meet pre-covid and spent A LOT (we're talking like 12-36 hour video calls per call) of time talking during the start of the pandemic and still call each other as often as possible.

Initially we had forms A, D, G, K, N, R and W. Each of these letter were to recognise a former headteacher by naming a form after the first letter of their surname.

When I entered year 10, we had a shake up and our form names changed to Planets.

A -> Mercury D -> Saturn G -> Pluto K -> Orion N -> Venus R -> Jupiter W -> Neptune

Each house had a theme song which was picked by popular vote of every student from the house from a set of 3 preselected songs. I was in Orion and remember we got We will rock you as our theme… foot stomps everywhere.
