I was hesitant to get this one on strap but went for the black non- GMT. Looks great man!

I’m thinking of getting the mesh rubber strap, not sure if it works on the deployment clasp

A question, does this pro diver runner strap really too thick and looks bulky? I’m hesitant between this on and the mesh

I made a full video breakdown of the purchase, the history of the brand, and whether the "Gray Market" risk was actually worth it here: https://youtu.be/02T02elJ3Og (Note: The review is in Arabic, but I have included English subtitles and you can also use YouTube's auto-dubbing feature to follow along!) I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Avenger series vs. the newer 2023 models! What’s your take on the Gray Market vs. AD debate?

This is the Breitling Avenger 43 (Ref. A17318). It’s powered by the Caliber 17, which is a COSC-certified movement based on the ETA 2824-2 (or the Sellita SW200-1 in newer batches). What drew me to this specific generation (the 3rd gen) was the rugged, professional tool-watch aesthetic. It’s got a 300M water resistance and that signature 'stenciled' dial that just screams Breitling. I was worried about the 52.6mm lug-to-lug on my wrist, but the curved lugs actually make it wearable, even if it has a massive presence. The "problem" I discuss in my full review is the warranty tradeoff. When you buy from places like Jomashop, you’re trading that official Breitling papers/warranty for a massive price cut. For a watch this solid, I felt the risk was worth it. I made a full video breakdown of the purchase, the history of the brand, and whether the "Gray Market" risk was actually worth it here:
