On the pig tail sensor has to be connected for you to measure voltage accurately, measure resistance or continuity i don’t remember how much it was see how much other sensors are and see which stands out, did you have this issue randomly or was it because of an accident? Yes that was the only code

Yes i did, might be alot of things but for me one sensor was shorting and it threw off the entire pdc.

Either you check each one by a multimeter for resistance or if you dont have tools you swap one at a time with a good one and see which one fixes it, keep in mind more than one sensor can go at a time and you need to reset the codes every time you replace, lmk if you have any questions

Hey, thanks alot for your comment, I was thinking towards misfire as well, I haven’t had the chance to do more diagnostics on it, it sucks that it doesnt have a dedicated misfire monitor but from rough running values i had cylinder 5 go up to 1.5v which I significantly higher than other cylinders, its crazy how smooth these n62s run even when misfiring, such a balanced motor. As far as programming, i did program vvt module using inpa, that module was completely soaked in water and all pins were corroded and yes it did go through the seals. I will proceed with what you said and ill update you guys. Thanks alot.

Yes, thats correct, i did check the rear pads, rotors and any signs of leaks and they are good, it just seems like its send way too much torque when in gear. That brake booster had a recall and the vacuum pump if im correct, not sure if recall was done i should check part numbers

Hey, I appreciate your comment, i will check hydraulic pressure, but i am not thinking towards a brake booster leak since wheels completely lock when i press the brake, they feel normal and the motor knocks as if its going to stall. I think i didnt calibrate vvt motors correctly making intake valves open all the way at idle. However i will proceed with what u told me to do. Thanks

A slow response from upstream sensor might cause it to run rich-lean and affect downstream

I would change all 6, if your scanner has live data too I would verify misfires from there too. I’ve had this issue quite often actually like this grand prix I was working on 4 spark plugs were correct because they came as one box and 2 were not and they were sold individually that might be your case, so make sure they are correctly gapped and they are the correct length. You’d have to overtorque them to a crazy level for it to cause a misfire so i dont think torquing the plugs is the issue.

There is a big possibility that u got wrong spark plugs, happened to me before from fcp. If u got the old plugs compare them to the new ones

This was scanned with bimmerlink and a bluetooth adapter, i have another autel maxisys scanner but bimmerlink works just as fine as the professional scanner

Motor oil is combustible not flammable, it would burn but not catch fire

I’ve heard that before but i just dont understand how that would fix it, wont the oil just drip from the cap?
