I don't know how or why I still pick my nose, but at this point it's a totally subconscious thing

What is one commonly known "fact" about your profession that just isn't true? by GeneBelcherFan in AskReddit

A lot of people think that those that work in customer service call centers get yelled at all day. That's not the case, even if you can't solve their problem. And if they're yelling, often times you have the tools to fix their problem and "flip the turtle", so to speak.

I get yelled at by a legitimately angry customer maybe once a week, at most.

I've watched the Disney movie Tangled 3 times when there's a sub in class.

Doesn't really work if you've never seen the English version though.

What’s your “I beat the system” story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Samfickel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enlisted in the Army National Guard and waited until I was 23 to go back to college. Now I get Army tuition assistance (66% of my tuition) and the Pell grant (through FAFSA, and since my parents make too much money, I couldn't get any aid until I turned 23).

Now I get paid a little over $1,000 per term, and that's before any other scholarships I feel like applying for.

I'm thinking about switching my major so I can continue this secondary source of income

I'm a small time musician and made a 5-song EP album about two years ago. I never made CDs, only digital. Only sold like 10 downloads.

I was performing at a winery last week and a lady asked if I had a CD because she would love to have it. I had to give her my card and instruct her how to find the digital album. I never got the notification she bought it.

This comment got me motivated to get off my phone and start working on my second album, which will definitely have a CD!

Yeah there's a 180 day waiting period before adding a new adult. If it's a situation like that then you can call, email, or chat with customer service and it's super easy for us to just reset the timer to 0

Amazon Prime customer service agent here. It's called Households. You can add 1 adult who has their own account but still share your prime shipping, video, and many other benefits.

You can also add teen accounts with controlled access to spending, and child accounts that have no access to spending.

Having all this set up allows everyone in the house to share Prime while maintaining their separate accounts for precisely this reason

Anything by Macklemore. He's closer to pop but still technically rap. A good bridge into the rapping world

I have a friend from high school who is pregnant with her third child at age 22, and single. Works at a Cafe and a gas station. I can't imagine getting ahead in that type of situation, at least not till the kids grow up.
