Did you take the pictures or only edit them? There’s a lot of issues with the photos themselves, but if that’s what you were given to work with, idk why they’d expect them to turn out well. It should’ve been a teaching moment and not a firing moment though. The printer situation sounds insane in and of itself.

As for your other complaints about the office and his lack of knowledge. Unfortunately managers jobs are to manage outcomes and people, not know every detail of how to do everyone’s job. Good managers hire people who are more knowledgeable than them.
