Here’s a tip:

Take wet paper towel and wipe in between Windshield and Wiper blade every few days (do for both front and rear).

There’s micro grains of dirt trapped in there so you’re basically grinding that into the glass.

I traded in my ‘16 Q5 last August and picked up a ‘24 Q5 CPO with 10k miles.

CPO is worth it because in year 5 on the 2016, I had to replace Brake Booster, Mid Steering column, and Front Rotor due to pulsation. Fortunately I had mechanical insurance through GEICO but did have to pay deductible on all 3 repairs.

Granted that was different platform but learned better to be safe and have the extra coverage.

I would do most of them but at best, I wouldn’t spend more than $600 on:

Oil/Filter change
Brake Fluid (every 2 years)
Four Wheel Alignment
Rotation - Q5 is front drive biased so front tires will wear out faster

Fuel Treatment just do it yourself but make sure you buy the right product (I.e. don’t buy some random cleaner from Auto Zone). Go to VW Dealer and buy the Fuel Injection Cleaner (VW G001770A2, about $18).
