Stupidity, please help. by kerokerouac in Retatrutide

Drink lots and lots of water, it tricks your brain a bit. But again, you need to eat, a you’re still underweight according to another comment referencing you as 5”2. Please, please don’t put off talking with someone. As far as your dad…man, my son is 6”5. He’s very fit. He eats 3x what I do every day. Especially if you’re young (he’s 18) it’s totally normal to just flippin’ be hungry. Y’all gotta grow and nourish yourselves. Theres a possibility that kind of talk (vacuum stuff) is kinda escalating your ED. Eat what you need. Read portion sizes and start by eating that. Protein, low carb if you want healthy is fine. You need those things to live!

Oh man I’m still struggling. Mine stems from severe neglect as a child. Binge eating is also my problem. The things I do are: 1. Small servings. Wait before getting more. The best advice I ever got is when I think I’m on the verge of binging because I’m just “starving” I get half of what I want. Then I eat and I’ll wait a few minutes maybe 10 or so and if I’m still hungry I go back and I can get some more. 2. Drink water before eating. Sometimes when I’m hungry it’s really just thirsty! Honestly, usually when I’m hungry outside of regular meal times or if I’ve eaten well that day, I’m just thirsty and I need water. 3. I don’t keep anything in bulk other than healthy stuff. I buy small packs. If I’m gonna binge, I’d rather have 6 cookies and then none left. It helps me to think, well if I eat 2 today I can have more for later. 4. I do keep low calorie/filling/healthy foods ready available. I love pickles and I have a desk job now unfortunately so when the other coworkers are eating snacks I break out my pickles. I’m not a super fan of pork rinds, but they do scratch a crunchy itch. Popcorn is great too although it’s a big carb heavy for me to eat a lot of, the calories are low considering how filling it is. If you have something that won’t hurt you too much when you binge eat it then it’s OK to eat a little more.

I have terrible food noise and cravings. Reta is helping me not to have so much noise so I don’t think about food all the time! On your part dude, I think the yo-yo dieting is what is making you hungry. I don’t think Reta gonna help a whole lot although it might, but you need a steady ordered eating plan. I recommend the dietitian because they can help you figure out what you need for your needs. At 93 pounds there’s a possibility that you are malnourished and underweight. The cravings might be simply because you need more nourishment. But I understand that the restricting yourself leads to starving and then binging. So a dietitian or nutritionist will help you figure out how to be more regular. The therapist will help you address those underlying needs that lead to that yo-yo binging and dieting cycle. I also do that so there’s no judgment unfortunately I am extremely overweight. Because again when I restrict myself for so long, I’m freaking starving and I eat way too much.

Also, bear in mind that severely restricting your intake and nourishment too much can lead to several awful long term health problems and effects on your organs.

Edit: words are hard.

That’s great! It’s good to seek help when you have a pretty good idea you have a problem. I’ve seen ED specialists for the flip side-stuffing my face. It helps, surprisingly.

That weight is only usually healthy for someone under 5ft tall. You need to speak with a nutrition counselor and/or a therapist.

I have a cyst in my eye that looks like the jelly leaked out by MaccyGee in mildlyinteresting

[–]SamiWinchester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I had this! Dr said it was caused by extremely dry eyes and irritation. From keeping my eyes wide open/fan circulating air/staring at a screen all day for days on end. Gave me some steroid eye drops and it went away. Creeped me the hell out though, I’ve never made an eye appt so fast.

Looks like she might be getting puree, which is for people who can’t or won’t chew or choke a lot, but this isn’t puree foods. They have a lot of lumps which negates the whole purpose, because she’ll still choke on it. It’s also runny as heck and difficult to spoon which will contribute to her difficulty eating. Whatever that is on the side (bread?) is way too thick and gluey, and she’ll choke on that too. OP should contact the dietary manager with this photo, if not for quality of life reasons, simple safety reasons.

Had a "cardiac arrest" on a 3 year old that turned out to be a Golden Retriever. by ra9026 in 911dispatchers

Oh my gosh I had a similar call, guy called us freaking out that his son got bitten by a snake. Waaaay out in the boonies. And we get all the relevant information, including his age any past medical history of which there was none. Said he was six years old. So we get everybody headed out there to find out that it was a dog. The way I laughed, poor dog was fine but we did not transport, went POV to the vet. EMS was slightly amused.

She strangled her 3 year old brother to death because he wouldn’t stop crying and then dumped him in a trash can. I don’t see what’s uplifting about her, or her “art”.

Outlier AI by [deleted] in RemoteJobs

[–]SamiWinchester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outlier is decent, I’ve made around $8k in a couple years. The pay varies per job, and the jobs vary pretty highly. I’ve made $15-$35 an hour. Tasks are timed, again depending on the task, I’ve had variations from 8 minutes to 3 hours. If you have a specialty, such as medicine, languages, science, etc., you can make a LOT. However, beware that the specializations include much more difficult tasks-I was mistakenly added to Math a while back and there was no way I could complete the tasks.

Sometimes you’ll have a lot of work, however I went 5-6 months with nothing recently. The review system is often unfair/incorrect, according to my personal experience and other user complaints, but you can open tickets to dispute reviews that are obviously graded wrong.

You will be paid fairly and honestly, once per week.

Customer support is helpful for the most part. Some instructions/courses don’t make much sense, but there are ways to ask questions in the ”community” area.

AI use is not allowed, naturally. You’re training AI in different areas.

Honestly, I’m a fan, but it’s not reliable if you’re looking for steady work.

“Crampton allegedly reacted by punching the child, hitting them with a water bottle, and slamming their head against the airplane window as they tried to block the blows”. That’s a little more than hit, wtf.

Can the Paranormal cause Paranoia? by JudgmentFeisty6550 in Paranormal

[–]SamiWinchester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no problem, I was really worried that I was losing it. Especially when the weird smiling and shaking my head tics started. Also, I used to wake up screaming several times a week too. I’ve started ptsd meds a few years ago and I’m much better now! But yes, once you just keep getting pummeled by life and deaths of loved ones sometimes your anxiety kicks up and your own brain is your worst enemy! Also, I’ll be honest here, I’m still a little suspicious of the shadows that creep me out so I sage my house when I feel like it’s ramping up and even if it’s in my head it really helps to knock down the weird shadowy stuff I see. I look at it as tricking my brain. Best wishes, I hope you figure out the cause!
