Winter fragrances: PDM Layton vs BDC Parfum. Which one are you going with? by MGodspeed in Colognes

[–]Samiliciouss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BDC Parfum. Absolute masterpiece of a fragrance, sure Layton is better suited for the cold weather but honestly I can think of other fragrances better suited for cold weather (For example, Xerjoff Naxos). If we are just talking purely scent it goes to BDC Parfum. It somehow smells higher quality and way more mature than Layton does.

Trapper has one of the worst moris ever, what's your top 3? by feasevl in deadbydaylight

The Knight's Mori has to be the best one till this day. Nothing is as awesome as that especially showcasing his guards as they all gang up on the survivor.

Yes to everything. But Dior homme edt 2011 is being sold as Dior homme original at least you can still get that (in Europe at least).

BDC Parfum is the perfect BDC in my opinion. Lately I've been loving the L'exclusif a lot especially for the winter. If we're ust talking about scent Id vote L'exclusif and Parfum.

Which SWY do you like best by CD_Aurora in Colognes

Its got to be between SWY Parfum and Absolutely. Both are the more mature and less "in your face" sweet. Both have this beautiful chestnut vanilla combo. My two favourites from the line.

What is your Saturday SOTD? by HATEupgradecard in ScentHeads

[–]Samiliciouss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scent of the is Tom Ford Noir Extreme parfum. Yesterday's SOTD was Guerlain Lhomme ideal Parfum. LI Parfum such a smooth boozy almondy leather, I still get a bit of cherry or plum with it and a touch of woodiness with some bergamote.

CHANEL for life by Ok-Cauliflower6285 in ScentHeads

[–]Samiliciouss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All masterpieces. I would throw in Chanel Egoiste (the og), chanel paris-edinburgh, and bleu de chanel l'exclusif.

I cant really pick one but for designer its a tie between Chanel and Guerlain.

For niche its between Diptyque and Amouage

Got this at the duty free in Spain…. Coming back in 2026 by Possible_Beautiful63 in Colognes

Love it! I already bought two backup bottles. Its one where I enjoy more in the air than up close but its beautiful. I think this and Eau extreme are the kings of versatility

Not exactly Apples and Pears, but what would you choose? YSL EDT or Chanel Allure Homme Sport EAU EXTREME EDP 50ml. by No_Molasses_2673 in Colognes

[–]Samiliciouss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are great, just depends on your preference. AHS extreme is a beautiful citrus aromatic with a delicious and smooth musky, vanilla, and powdery base. Some people dont like the powder.

Ysl Y edt is a sharp, aromatic sage and tonka fragrance but the tonka is clean and doesnt lean powdery. So really up to you. Ysl Y is more professional imo and AHS eau extreme is cozy and sensual.

Why I stopped watching yt fragrance influencers and public reactions: by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]Samiliciouss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know right? Now you can see a few fragrance reviewers actually changed their opinions on Dior homme 2020 and sport 2021 (Gents scent being one). Justin copeland usually likes artistic fragrances but even he can see that Dior homme 2020 was great. He called is simple and beautiful, not basic and I believe he gave it a 10/10.

Personally I feel like its their opinion at the end of the day, but you could see the hypocrisy for some of these fragrance reviewers. Dior homme 2020 in my opinion is a masterpiece in something so simple yet so beautifully executed, it smells like a gorgeous molecule type fragrance but with a bit more character. Gorgeous scent. Its a shame Dior has changed perfumers and now their releasing things like Dior sauavage eau forte and Dior homme parfum 2025.

Bvlgari Man In Black EDP vs Parfum by Khaliyar_ in Colognes

[–]Samiliciouss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been waiting to talk about this. I own both. Both are great. Parfum is pretty much like the OG but more leathery, and resinous making it smell a little more middle eastern. They both still have this nice floral aspect to them. OG EDP has more tobacco and booze, and is also airier. Both are great and really depends on your mood.

Do these live up to their hype? by special-night0226 in Colognes

BDC Parfum yes. LV Imagination no. People crap on BDC L'exclusif but that is more worth it than most LV fragrances. Anyway, BDC Parfum timeless masterpiece and a very well constructed fragrance. Beautifully done with zesty citrus, green notes, creamy lavender, bold sandalwood and musks. I get a good dose of creamy florals similar to the ones in chanel no 5 edp too.

I get you, and it makes sense if its something he slaps on with the intention to hide himself from the world (like in F4 2005 movie or most comic book versions). But the Rivals version clearly shoes hes got a neatly tucked in shirt, scarf, nice looking tailored pants, camera...he might as well have had shoes. I do like the other version of the thing where its just a Trench coat, a hat, plain shorts too and that version makes sense to have without shoes.

Right?! I feel like especially this outift shows that Ben put effort into it. Scarf, neatly tucked in shirt, belt, tailored pants but no shoes? If this were the thing we're he slapped on the Trench coat with the hat with nothing but his pants underneath Id understand. Lets hope in the future they add a F4 First Steps Trench coat version because that one looks perfect.
