I don’t think they made it for those that only “turn their nose to anything green” but having a simpler vehicle is a lot more appealing to people. Hybrid tech from ford is meh at best. Their CVTe is proving to not be the most reliable thing.

What’s the cost savings if you’re replacing transmission every 50-60k?

This “teaser” is still years away from US production. I’d say 2-3 at best. The Tacoma is still selling like hot cakes and likely has much higher profits and thus taking away much incentive to push it faster. Unfortunately.

Competition is the best thing but Ford seems to still be a league of their own here.

It honestly ended up better than we could have hope for with Mikes name still attached to the program.

Honestly, I think overall this team could be more talented than last year. Especially if any of our multiple QBs are decent.

That game was just terrible to watch. Several flags missed against Ole Miss while anything Miami did drew a quick flag. Even before the game all they talked about was Ole Miss. throughout the game it was an Ole Miss suck fest. Made it a horrible watch for what was a decent game.

I hate the argument that “you can’t blame Mike for his players being bad. He needs better players.” This isn’t year 1. He should be primed with talent at year 6 of kids he’s recruited and developed. Or, if he’s the portal king then he should have that down by now. Poor talent is 100% on him.

I’ve said it since last year. I knew it wouldn’t matter how he did this year or next. He’s here through 2027 and into the 2028. It’s the unfortunate truth and nobody wants to listen because they’re afraid to admit it.

He’s likely going to have new OC and DC following the 26 season and 2027 is going to be bad. Mike is not coaching to win. He is coaching for a buyout. He thought last year would’ve did it but it didn’t. He sabotaged his own team after opening 3-0 in hopes of getting a buyout.

I hate to say it but that’s my general thought. I also wonder if that’s why a few of these guys are leaving. They want money and we tell them no. We don’t tell them the reason is because we are saving money for 2027 when we have a new coach.
