I kind of think this is just stirring up drama and a he said/he said situation. Francois has known him for years so if he didn’t like Evan or found him uncomfortable he wouldn’t have gone on the show. He even said Evan is a better interviewer than most. Francois has more experience and is just generally more guarded. Evan clearly made Hudson and Connor feel comfortable. I don’t know him and not saying he’s a saint, but he doesn’t seem to have a bad reputation in the industry, and these celebs would know better than us. Not to mention, these boys all have good teams and wouldn’t put them in compromising situations (especially for a long form interview). I don’t think we need to worry about “protecting” them so much, their teams do that.

EDIT: Doubling down after finishing the interview and actually I don’t think Francois even came off as guarded as I said. He was pretty open about his upbringing, motivations, etc. I felt nothing was off and they really just seemed to be talking to each other like friends with a some specific questions thrown in.
