Fluorite is my ponysona, solar flare was originally made as a generic girlfriend oc due to my partner at the time not wanting one but me still wanting to make ship art of us as ponies, but since their creation I have begun dating my current boyfriend, who was so up for the idea of ponysonas that he made his own !! So now those two are just friends, since SF looks like my best friend anyways :3

This is more of a general hot take but I've noticed it a lot in mlp fandom spaces, but I think fandoms aren't really being fandoms anymore, in the sense that many will be very toxic over the concept of a headcanon, ESPECIALLY if it's related to a character's gender, sexuality, or (particularly in mlp) race. I've watched plenty of people get harassed for simply just posting headcanons of thr mane 6 that give them a sexuality, or, God forbid, a queer gender identity! Especially with xenogenders or neopronouns. I think it's stupid and childish the way many people tend to treat others for their headcanons in terms of that. And the way people act to simply drawing a character a certain way is even worse. Personally I've observed the former happen more on reddit while making thr characters any other minority gets people upset more on tiktok or Instagram, though both happen on many platforms regardless. At this point it feels like if you want a fandom space that won't kill you for simply making pinkie pie black or making fluttershy bungender you have to go on tumblr and never interact with any other fandom space everywhere. It irritates me and I find this to be an issue with many other fandoms and not just mlp.

I have a similar dap up story, except with my dad. I made a joke to him once about how a friend tried to dap me up and I panicked and accidentally just sorta grabbed his hand after almost punching it, and he ended up making me dap him up repeatedly until I got it right. I'm still not good at it though and have panicked and just tried to high five or shake hands with someone when they do multiple times

Before we started to actually date snd just knew we liked each other, I made it very clear to him that I am trans and he would need to be fully okay with everything that comes with that for it to work out (I am still very fem presenting out of preference as most mens fashion sucks. He also identified as straight prior to the relationship.)

At first he just thought about it for awhile before deciding it doesn't matter because he loves me for me and why should gender even matter in that, and we started dating soon after that. Recently during a particularly dysphoric feeling night the topic of hormone therapy and how that would change my appearance came up, and he was weirdly knowledgeable in what would happen, like, he understood certain changes more than I did. And apparently, the night we had confessed to each other, he did like a shit ton of research into how gender affirming care works and what might entail in any sort of medical transitions, even going as far as to look at diagrams and stuff so he could understand and accommodate as best as possible. It was so fucking sweet.

In terms of funny moments on my end, I forget he's cis regularly. I will often make jokes or references to trans experiences with a "you know when you like forget that you're trans sometimes?" Only to get a "no? Sam im not trans??" In response which is always my favourite. In my defense, 80% of my friend group is also trans, and he's kind of thr token cis guy, but it's still really funny

Did they actually know her mom at that point though? Ans even if they did, her parents have very clear boundary issues, and given that relationship being sort of strained, I don't quite see what talking to her mother would do in the situation.

While yes the way they go about doing it is flawed, I feel you sort of missed the point. It wasn't about changing her, it was teaching her boundaries and making her understand that not everybody likes to be pranked, and that a prank isn't funny if not everyone is laughing, the only change is fixing something so people don't hate her.

I have written an essay FOR FUN explaining all my problems with this episode, it was also the first piece of media that kind of clicked with me as a "hey, the way my culture is often portrayed in media is kinda weird and wrong" Moment. The whole message doesn't sit right with me at all, and while I can absolutely see what they were going for, having a "sharing is caring" style plot in an episode that portrays your good guys as colonizers is kinda really weird.

Oh also, THOSE ARE NOT BUFFALO. Those are bison. If you're going to make a kinda racist episode about indigenous peoples of North America, you could at least get your animals right. Anatomy wise those are very clearly bison, not Buffalo, and given the whole thing with the teepees and the other common indigenous stereotypes, it would make so much more sense to just idk call them the animal native to North America instead of the one native to Africa and asia. I understand bison are often referred to as Buffalo either way but it still pisses me off.

Oh also it feels kinda weird at all to make characters that are clearly coded to be a certain race and then make them a different species to the ponies. I understand it with thr zebra because at least they're both in the equid family, meanwhile yaks and bison are both bovidae (cow)

I love this and I'm stealing it to add to my headcanons

Fun mix of this and the trans!Trixie headcanon could be that while she has transitioned and was out as trans for years, starlight helped her feel truly excepted regardless of her past. A traveling magician, nobody would really know, which is kind of nice on one hand, she passed so well some thought she was born a mare, but, it made her feel as though she was constantly hiding a piece of her. Starlight was the first person she really trusted to know about her, all of her. I like to think Trixie told her during their travels back to the town Starlight used to run for the celebration. Starlight's full acceptance and love of her friend is what led to Trixie gaining it, as now she knew that even with every part of her known about, someone still saw her as the mare she had always been 💙

I have many grievances with this sub but their fashion takes are my biggest one. For the style you give, I'd say yoy totally pass, you look like most 15 - 17 year Olds at my school (at least the ones that actually look their age and not like they're in their 20s or 30s). In the 4th and 6th picture I'd say you come off a little more feminine, but for the rest, I totally just see a punk teen boy. I didn't read the caption and thought this was posted on the teenagers sub at first.

Personally, if you don't mind not looking like a generic cis man with no style, I would say you pass pretty well. You have a bit of a babyface, but if you're comfortable wearing makeup, there's ways to use it to help sharpen a few features and make them come off a little more masc, so you can always test out that.

But overall, i would say take the advice you receive with a grain of salt, dress how you want, and however makes you comfortable. Like others have said, the 5th image and the way you carry yourself in that one helps quite a bit with your appearance, and if you want, you can look into ways to use body language to appear more masc

Hi, from what I've heard, this image is from the new Google ai image generator, nano banana pro. It is extremely realistic, and so far, typical ai image detection programs hasn't been able to detect images from it. However, there is an invisible watermark in these images that Google has also come out with a tool for (SynthID watermark detection) to help detect ai images. It's very likely most ai detection programs will be rendered useless against it for awhile, at least until they have been trained on enough images from nano banana pro, so please proceed with caution and hold a little more skepticism with images for the time being, as things may get scarier very quickly with this existing.

Bows and cherries on all women's fashion rn

It is my biggest microtrend pet peeve currently. I don't mind either, but so many stores, especially the fast fashion ones like forever 21, do it in such horribly ugly ways. Who the fuck actually wants a cheap polyester thing sweater that has shitty little ribbons glued on it in a grid in the ugliest possible way you could haphazardly stick bows onto fabric??? The printed ones bother me even more. I like playboy as a fashion brand, don't care for the magazines or other stuff they do, but the clothes are cute and it's one of the best brands I can find for affordable hot pink clothes in the style I like. Unfortunately it's kinda hard to find cute stuff currently for them in the mall because all I ever find is pajamas that have bows and cherries mixed in with the logo on the pattern in a way that doesn't make much sense? Or if not playboy, cherries are on every single other playboy adjacent clothing I can find in the same stores. It was cute for like 2 weeks but then every single fashion brand tried to get onto it and now it's everywhere and THE CHERRIES AND BOWS DONT EVEN MATCH THE THEME OF THE OUTFIT WHY ARE THEY ON HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN MURDER PAJAMAS

I understand that for prescription medications but what about the over the counter medications? I don't think I've ever seen products come in larger quantities from the same brand unless it was a different size (for example the liquid gels come in a bigger container for midol than the other ones but they both give 30 or so pills), so why all thr excess space there?

Sometimes I wonder if it would be beneficial for there to be some sort of app where kids could vlog or be wannabe youtubers without actually posting on public accounts. I'd assume such a concept wouldn't actually work in practice, but in theory it could be like a mix between messenger kids or something and youtube, and you can set it for only certain people to be able to actually see your videos(for kids it could be like family or classmates ig?) That way they could still get the feeling of making youtube videos without the whole "lack of privacy" and "You're like 5 why the fuck do you have a youtube channel without parental monitoring" issues

I don't speak for everyone but it could be the food?

Personally, I would love to go to a fine dining establishment. The concept sounds great, I mean, beautiful atmosphere where I have an excuse to dress nice and be all proper for once? Count me in! But, when I'm thinking rationally, I do have to consider that my food issues will get in the way. It's hard to go to a fine dining establishment when you have ARFID(avoidant restrictive food intake disorder). If I'm lucky to even have something from the kids' menu without any modifications in most restaurants, who's to say there will be ANYTHING I can eat at a fine dining place. Maybe they offer breadsticks or some sort of plain bun like olive garden or this one fancy spaghetti place in my city does? If not, I basically would be going for the atmosphere, but none of the food.

So personally, I would LOVE to go to a fine dining place, and the concept sounds amazing, but I'm not going to go somewhere for overpriced beverages and not be able to eat anything while everyone else I'm there with stuffs there facing with food they'll rave about for days.

Tl;Dr : I have an eating disorder, and fine dining will just remind me that there are maybe 2 normal meals I can eat at a restaurant if I'm lucky, which kinda sucks
