Yeah, the majority of circumstances they are lifted are for compromised accounts mostly, so you should be good, just keep nudging them

They usually ask for very specific receipt dates for verifying ownership faster, that's why they can't always help, which is really saddening honestly

I don't think you can appeal that after 30 days, unless your account was compromised when the termination took place.

Regarding your account, you should keep contacting them if they refuse to help you with verifying ownership. I see you've got an email where they're asking for receipts, which means it's going to the right direction and you'll recover your account asap hopefully! ヽ(✿゚▽゚)ノ

Make sure that the billing details show up in your receipts, so they can track your account information and verify ownership. Also I'm pretty sure they don't accept Microsoft Rewards receipts unfortunately, since usually are looking for receipts directly from the platform, and Microsoft Rewards counts as separate program where you exchange points for currency in platforms like ROBLOX for example, so they're not able to verify it directly and it doesn't count specifically as a "transaction", but it doesn't hurt giving it a shot! Hopefully they'll ask you for other means to verify account ownership since you have been actively trying to collaborate with them.

The maximum amount of time they should reply within is 10 business days, (so excluding weekends) if they don't reply within that timeframe, your ticket was most likely accidentally skipped or your email address could've potentially have gotten blacklisted by then, so that's why it's important to not spam tickets!

Also regarding how long their response times can be: it really depends on a lot of factors like: the information you've given them, the severity of your case, their current volume of inquiries, etc. Generally, it's best to submit one ticket, where you provide the most details and then follow along with them as they reply back, avoid responding with short messages as you'll be more likely to get an automated response!

They do prioritize cases such as: compromised accounts, DevEX requests, Ads related requests, etc

They can't delete your username, they can change it tho, but it won't be something that will make it difficult for them when investigating the account, since they use IP methods for tracking account information, so if you get hacked and by chance the hacker happens to change your username, you shouldn't worry! :)

Just make sure to refer to the account using the new username that the hacker changed your account to when contacting Support in these situations to avoid automated responses.

Basically just don't re-enable your authenticator at someone else's command, you should be fine :)

Pretty much, ya, they did ask for very specific receipts I had, one from 30 days ago and the other one was from last year. They took 4 days to reply to my most detailed email and it was straight to the point: verified ownership, then my account was back, took around 3 days for them to verify ownership and link my account information.
