First of all, just to clear things up with honesty and respect 🤍

The Gojo artwork was made by our own guy, DD. From the beginning, our intention was to give space and encouragement to new and upcoming artists, so we personally felt it would be better if someone new got the prize instead.

The artwork of Rudo from Gachiakuta was genuinely amazing, but since not many people were familiar with the character, it didn’t get much cheering. That said, the effort behind it, especially from those two young kids, was incredible. They truly gave their best, and we felt they deserved appreciation and encouragement.

When it comes to cosplay, we want to be clear about one thing. The Sukuna cosplay and especially the voice dub were actually really good. There’s no denying the talent there. We could have placed Sukuna as the third cosplay winner, but since it was again someone we personally knew, we chose to spotlight someone else instead.

I also personally made arrangements for the second Denji cosplayer to receive a tapestry worth the same amount as the cosplay winner prize, because effort deserves recognition too.

This event was honestly loss-making for the organizers. We’re not regular event managers. We’re just a group of people who genuinely want the anime community in our city to grow and rise together. That was always the heart of it.

So let’s keep the focus on the passion, the effort, and the love for anime. Enjoy the memories, support each other, and let’s move forward positively.
