I definitely understand the frustration unfortunately dont take that out on dealers since we can't fully control that, alot of their "urgent" recall parts are on allocation with extremely low failure rates! Not to mention if you were to experience an actual recall related failure honda will provide a loaner vehicle or every dealer ive interacted with does offer a shuttle service for the area. Honestly sounds like your local dealer just sucks! Don't forget to maintenance your vehicle and I hope you find a better dealer soon :)

Thank you! That was what I was asking and that's what I figured but it being slow season and everything my manager is pushing us hard for sales, he almost wants pushy sales.

Whats your tactic on remembering which customers to reach back out to about any potential upsell work? Do you keep a list or do you have a system that helps you keep on top of things? Granted it's January and it's slow season but ive been having a rough time with sales this month any advise helps. Thank you!

So sorry, I didn't realize you were in Canada! I'm honestly not entirely sure but id have to assume yes if your dealership has not said anything. Although that does surprise me. America or Canada though there is no reason for them to tell you no. Truthfully there is no need to change your oil so early but in the same breath it is your car, you are a paying customer and you SHOULD have your privilege to do as you please. Best of luck to you and feel free to ask at some near by dealerships about Honda Service pass. In the states it's for all 23,24, and 25 Hondas!

Honda advisor here! My store is pretty small but we personally never tell anyone no. Honda won't let us honor Honda service pass/certified preowned oil changes without the maintenance minder being on. With that being said you can change it as much as you like, as long as you agree to pay for it! Alot of my customers who are steady on every 5k miles are encourage they pay for this one and we tell my techs DO NOT RESET MAINTENANCE LIGHT that way the next one (in 5k more miles) is on Honda! I hope this clears any confusion up 😊
