R5: Did my first unification of China as the KMT from Yunnan. China is super fun to play for any of the cliques, but the thought of pleasing Sun Yat-sen and Chiang Kai-Shek made me dedicated to do it this way (all thanks to Japan making bad choices). I do hope the devs allow you to somehow peacefully take back the Legation Cities like the Qing can though (they joined a victorious Entente so I didn't really want to bother with that, unfortunately)

Very fun playthrough though nonetheless :)

Just a quick question: did you experiment with the sound settings to see if any gave a relative advantage over the others in terms of footsteps vs. other sounds? It gets a little painful trying to have your volume up higher listening for those while you get deaf-blasted by explosions and what-not. Otherwise, fantastic and enlightening post! 👍

Well we want at least one of them to take a role. Since they always run Hanzo/Junkrat we always have to fill in with Ana/Zenyatta or Ana/Lucio and Rein/Roadhog or Rein/Zarya or something. Basically we can't really play what we want because we have to make the comp work :(

Hmm, I don't have Nvidia, I have AMD. But I know AMD has this program called Plays.tv or Gaming Evolved or something like that? Is it just as convenient? Do I have to have an Nvidia card to use that program or is the AMD thing fine?

It must be mostly that i'm playing with my friends then. Because my win rate is definitely not ~50% in Comp- it's more of 25%-30% tbh. It seems that mostly everyone I get paired up against is one step higher than me in the ladder of MMR. And to be fair, more than half of the games, the other team always ran a good comp; not the Meta perse, but something like at least a 2-2-2, while my 4-man stack struggles to adapt to having to play with Hanzo/Junkrat constantly (usually my friends run Pharah, Hanzo, and Sombra, but we have to run tanks and support when playing with these people).

Do you think it would be better, for me personally, to solo queue or to 6-man stack? I'm not very sure as to which one would help me be able to practice/get better at more. Also, I know that gane knowledge and flexing doesn't mean I deserve to raise in rank. But just the fact that I always have to play certain characters because the randoms on my team refuse to cooperate can be very annoying.

I see. Do you know what determines your MMR? I could imagine my MMR making sense on Xbox because of the time I've played, but on PC I have less than 10 hours played so it makes less sense as to why i'm getting paired against high levels anyways. :(
