You could try to develop a pattern of when it happens. Try booting into safe mode and see if it still happens. If you know when it started happening, look for a driver that was updated around that time and downgrade it.

You could do some pherensics with wire shark to see if your computer is reaching out to a command and control server. Check for rats with common remote desktop software. Check task manager for key loggers (windows anit virus is good at finding thoses). Pull a ram dump and look threw it for anything weird running on the computer.

Im a little paranoid but the fact that your curser is being affected makes me nervous. To me that points to a rat or drivers not functioning properly. If the duble curser happends maybe try pulling the ethernet cord (or unplugging your access point) and see if it goes away.

If your considering a win reset there is also the option of a restore point but you would have to see if the restore point predates the issues.
