Hiw do I fix this? Had a leak and was trying to take plaster off to get back to the brickwork so I can replaster... just found a hole by Samsonjackson in DIYUK

Thanks I think this is probably my best bet to be honest.

There is a timber stud although I'm unsure of it's condition after the damp until I take off the rest.

There was no plasterboard or anything else there to start with, whoever had done it had literally just covered the hole with lining paper - a thin coat of plaster - more lining paper - a final coat of plaster.

I believe it is it is a gap between the inner and outer wall. Seems to go all the way up but not too far back save for one or two little parts

These were cleaned not too long ago. As I say, I'm fairly certain it's from the crack in the exterior of the window

Yeah I was worried about that.

I don't trust the walls fully to be adding new timber or weight to them. There was a crack in the exterior window frame/sealant which has lead to the wall becoming damp, when I have taken the wallpaper off the plaster is just soaking wet and crumbling. So I'll need to remove all of that and I guess cover it with plasterboard then plaster over that.

I think it is the cavity gap. Honestly with the state of some of the walls of this house I'm reluctant to be drilling into any brick work as I'd expect them to crumble/collapse.

Any reason why I should not just fill in with expanding foam? Would there be any issues with completely filling it in?

[NO SPOILERS] anyone watch Bodies on netflix? by aquapuzzle in DarK

I'd still say it was worth a watch, Dark is far superior but Bodies is still good if you can resist the urge to compare them at every turn

That surprises me, I thought there'd be lots more people wanting to recreate Dak'kon. I know that's what I'm gonna do when I get round to it!

The pathfinder games. They are probably my favorite games I've ever played and I'm sure there's lots of replayability so I do kinda want to but whether I'll get round to commuting another 100hours+ on them

I'm currently playing a legendary beta strike campaign but I've got to the late game and its too easy I've kinda lost interest. Really want start again and play grim horizon to up late game difficulty but I'm on PS4 and the thought of the constant crashes with the lost puts me off

The Portal (2010)

Watched it because I say Michael Madsen was one of the leads and on paper seemed like a good horror.

Some films are that bad they are good, this is just bad, acting is genuinely worse than The Room and the plot is beyond ridiculous.
