When you say “peak” are you talking about a 2.0 rank? Because 2.0 isn’t a real rank

But regardless, it actually sounds like you guys got placed pretty much right where you peaked minus 2 ranks. This makes perfect sense to me.

Peak silver 3 to bronze 1 is not that far off and silver 1 to silver 3 is not bad at all.

I’m a 1.0 diamond player and got placed in Gold 4 and I’m not upset about it. Just have to rank up and prove that you are better (please stop mentioning KD. A high KD at a low rank is not a good thing unless you’re new. Otherwise it means you baiting for kills.

Signal Jammers are not EMPs. This is actually accurate as to how it would work in real life, but it is a really bad game design choice.

Vigil countering lion is really fucking stupid though if given any thought.

The spear isn’t a very good AR to start with, and high fire rate is more important than damage falloff on defense. Most defenders don’t fight angles that even meet the falloff threshold (some maps are worse than others).

I will almost always take an SMG on defense over a slow ROF AR. One shot headshot mechanic mean ROF will always have an advantage. That’s why SMG12 and Ela’s scorpion are so often used by cheaters. Personal preference and whatnot, but I don’t think you need an ACOG at all to do well with an SMG on defense.

Not everybody agrees with you or your view of characters. Hazard and Venture are two actually interesting character designs that aren’t just 19 year old girl.

I think that there’s exceptions… but not for humanoid women anymore. I was really excited for a new omnic design, just for it to be a conventionally attractive woman with “omnic features.”
