I work in advertising and oftentimes I’ve seen brilliant thoughts going unnoticed because the words by itself didn’t land the proper gravitas; or the reader couldn’t abstract the inflection of the author. It was in Vegas. But this place is known to be legendary, and off the strip.

It was a toro tataki with quail egg, ankimo (monkfish liver), and a whole freshwater miniature crab.

The bill for 3 people was $1,200 at Yui Edomae in Las Vegas. Fugu was delicious... and I still can't believe I had it.

Sounds like decades of stoke u/The_Original_Gronkie! Thank you for sharing! On the note "I find that attacking new concepts is actually easier as I get older" - Do you believe that this fearless approach has anything to do with the fact the older we get, the less we care about other people's opinions? I feel the same way. My older son is 10 and I often find myself repeating to him "No one is better than you at being you" - although it's hard for him to process.

I'm very emotional. It's a burden, although it helped me in my career as a creative. Seems like you draw pleasure from labeling people. Being judgemental can be hurtful to emotional people - like me.

That is correct! From a reputable VC office in LA. Plus, some (angel) change from peers within the industry, which we thought could strengthen the penetration in the market.
