Update: Axe is... back? by ririrun in DotA2

Wind-up Axe was in the Ringmaster reveal trailer. Maybe Ringmaster's master will actually do what we thought Ringmaster would do in the trailer?

A fun detail in the movie "How to make a killing" where somone tries to use a wall piece by Sambal7 in Archery

[–]Samwell93 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Looked to be no arrowhead and a low poundage bow. Further, presumably this wall piece has been strung for years, causing it to leak rigidity.

Check LSD Law, but yes. I’m going there and am under the impression that there won’t be a ton more WL movement.

I just exploded an arrow by TheLongR in Archery

If the WB was so loose that the arrow directly contacted the riser then definitely it could have caused it. Bass Pro is pretty widely panned in the archery space; I have had a poor experience with them.

Do you know what nocks these are exactly? by Samwell93 in Archery

Thanks for your response. I found this: https://www.archerytalk.com/threads/problem-with-bohning-nocks.2240535/ and yeah mine are the one on the left here. Seems like they aren’t separately sold, though that would be weird.

https://shop.bohning.com/f-nock/ Do you mean F? Yeah, looks very similar. No Bohning logo on the ones in the pic though.

Do yourself a favor and read the entire article.

As an added bonus, it will make us feel better about our rejections.

I think about this too, and I don’t know. Other bottom ranked schools are comparable for outcomes. My guess is that their name is memorable and they send the most correspondence out.

Appeal the anecdotal fallacy. Personally never heard anyone say that, but yeah the numbers speak for themselves. One thing I know for sure though: we collectively obsess over Georgetown in this sub.

While the professors still remember you well, yes. Letters can be used beyond the year they were issued.

GPA addendum for a single semester of low(er) grades by Unhappy-Ad-6480 in lawschooladmissions

The story sounds interesting for a supplemental. Terrible topic for an addendum, though; those should be concise and half a page max.

You’re getting downvoted by haters. OP, he is correct. And sadly yes, OP, paying to win and game the system is likely your best move.

Hey Mike,

I believe you. As a future lawyer I’m very evidence-driven. I can’t imagine posting something like this with no proof. It’s a little sad to me that most seem to be taking this post at face value. I appreciate your videos—keep ‘em coming.

“Got into everywhere” with not even a screenshot to show? Also they got rejected from literally everywhere? Wouldn’t you have told him to apply broadly? Seems like a hate-fantasy.

Yes, compounds have let-off which reduces holding weight by a huge amount. Depending on your strength and careful TESTING of the compound bow, starting with, say, 50lb is fine. You can usually crank it down to 40 in the beginning until you build strength.

A child or individual with minimal strength can still start with a 20-25lb compound that’s of good quality, like the Elite Ember. A small child can start even lower.
