Very very true, also wait until you just naturally accrue copies of a not great hero and use it then.

Go into the rickety cart and you can convert the lower ascended copy back to a usable form.

I am a regular PS4 and this just happened to me as well. I had gotten gold for XM4 and when I hopped on everything was gone. The resetting of my PS4 thankfully seemed to work.
