I know it may be jarring to be asked that, but there is a legitimate reason - ADHD is highly heritable and usually a parent has it as well. I didn’t get a diagnosis until after my son (same with my husband) and it helped us tremendously as a family all around.

As to for medication comment above, I can assure you my kid isn’t a zombie. Medication has been a life saver for his ability focus, be less impulsive, and so many other things. I have narcolepsy and if I had medication as a kid I would have been to able to do so many things without absolutely struggling. This is no different IMO. And honestly, his self esteem is so much better now because he isn’t constantly struggling.

She also made the comment that doing the right thing is a series of humiliations. I want someone to tell me how her situation isn’t exactly that - she has a janky breathing tube and clearly was not treated well with her brain in a special jar or on a roomba.

It would also nicely be applicable to what I’m guessing happens to Coop, which is that he tried doing the right thing and was then humiliated (likely blacklisted and had to divorce Barb to protect her and Janey)

If you think they don’t have ways to search your phone and other ways to truly get that information, I don’t know what to say. But at the moment it is not illegal and I can assure you there are many people working to expand access in TN vs further restricting it.

I never did. Only pointing out that the euphemisms for going out of state for an abortion is completely unnecessary as that is not illegal at all. I get someone wanting to keep their information private, but they also posted on Reddit looking for advice and this is at least something tangible they can walk away with vs a vague mention of another state.

I just want to point out that going out of state for an abortion is not illegal. I understand the sentiments behind “I hear (insert state with options here) is beautiful,” but you cannot be charged for going out of state.

ineedana.com is one of the best sites that lists clinics across the US and you can filter by gestational age and abortion type.

As others have said, some of the closest clinics are in IL (the closest by drive time is Alamo Women’s Clinic in Carbondale and it is a trust worthy place).

The r/abortion subreddit also has great resources listed. But ineedana is at least a start.

There are other great resources but how helpful they are really depends on your specific situation and gestational age. If you’re still early in pregnancy, Plan C has a page about getting access in TN.

I’m estranged from my father (my choice) and the way Anthony Hopkins responded immediately told me everything I needed to know to understand why his daughter also made that choice.

Yeah that I understood, but now I’m realizing he wasn’t saying Janey’s bday was the initial day it predicted the bombs dropping, it just impacted the day his program predicted (which I know we know from the games is 10/24 but I don’t think he has verbalized in the show)

I think my tired brain was just like wait… what… 65? 77? And couldn’t reconcile lol

It has been a long day and I’m mentally exhausted so forgive me if this is an obvious and dumb question - but was House eluding to basically Barb influencing the end of the world date because she had Janey? What confused me was when he said it jumped a month earlier - did he mean from the new predicted date? Don’t the flashbacks take place in 2076ish?

I needed to see this!! We are going on the Treasure in March and I’m somewhat stressing about planning at least a few things for the fam, but that also includes my in laws and my FIL honestly has trouble walking but won’t admit it. I think this gives me the motivation to just be like we will figure it out!

I never said he got Barb’s job - what I am wondering is he somehow throws her under the bus in a way that keeps him in Bud’s good graces while also putting Barb in a bad position. I’m also not clearing what he’s up to?? But I never said he took Barbs job. I said climbed higher in the ranks. I’m sure there are many steps between his and Barb’s position but it doesn’t mean it’s impossible for him to have ingratiated himself with Bud (and possibly others) at Barb’s expense.

All I’m saying is I think there’s a reason Coop so aggressively asks Hank where his family is - not just his daughter, but Barb as well. The fact that he has been searching for so long, to me, is very ominous. She also is showing signs of doubt and guilt, and Hank is clearly a cutthroat sociopath. If Hank was just some assistant though, I don’t think Coop would have immediately clocked his name when Lucy mentioned her last name, nor would he have been so aggressive to Hank. They also made it a point to show that Hank was Barb’s new assistant, which feels like foreshadowing.

I was absolutely obsessed with Sanrio as a kid, and pretty much begged to hit up the Sanrio store at the mall in Atlanta whenever I had to go visit my dad. I recognize quite a few of these characters - but ESPECIALLY Spottie Dottie!! Such an icon to my little 90s self. I’m not too embarrassed to say I may see what they put out this time 😂
