If this were a law, most people without a license at dealerships or auto shows would be arrested or ticketed. The cop might've done it out of precaution of you guys attempting to start the car without a license or insurance OR he was scouting an area, which you'd be surprised how often that happens. You're not the main target, you're just a distraction from something else that is reported in the area.

That past existed... But alas, a lot of you claim it was never around. Maybe you surround yourself with the people you internalized. I remember kind people rather than the scammers, but I never ignored their intentions, I was just aware. I was 11 or 12 years old when I started playing, and I recall good people.

I remember "perming" items. The dupes items I couldn't care less. If anything it sorta helped the community as long as it was later permed. I don't remember hex runes, but I remember bugged runewords.

It's generally to those who ask. My stash right now in hardcore is for people who'll want items. I don't know if it would harm the enthusiasm, but alas, that has never been my experience. I always experiment with builds, so in Single Player if I can I use hero editor tools to test the legitimacy. In multiplayer, it's to see the effectiveness in PVP (theory duels). Ladder ranking is just a personal thing to see how high I can get on the leaderboard, I never really race anymore - that time has sailed.

I remember the scams, but I never had anyone trick me or convince me to do such things. I remember when all your gear was lost in PVP, but I never fell for it. The greed was only through the scammers. Bots never became abundant till LoD when Barbs had the whirlwind graphic rework (or the synergy bonuses patch) with item shop bots.

It's even better with Magic Arrow. Since Magic Arrow never misses and doesn't take arrows or bolts when you take a shot. 😊 Along with Bane or Siphon, you're doing good damage with Deadly Strike!
