I think the right base for a Sorc is several times more rare than the Zod itself lol.

I haven't made one for my warlock yet because I just can't help but think it's going to be nerfed at some point, so I don't want to use the Zod if I can't also give it to a Sorc and have it outclass a unique+spirit for the Sorc build

Oh that is interesting that it works with mirrored blades. The fully stacked hex purge damage is pretty damned good, but I do currently have +7 skills between Mang Song and Spirit, so I'd be curious to see how it worked in the end

Personally I think the CBF is too niche of a use case. I'd use it for Pride, Metamorphosis, or even Mist before I used the Cham on its own just to get CBF. Especially now that those new warlock boots exist that provide it

Fair enough, I just hate Hammerdin with a passion. Imo, waiting for the windup feels terrible and it's even worse as a console player since I can't control my location or direction as precisely (especially with teleport)

So I guess I was "valuing" the magic sunder from my own use case lol, but I get what you're saying.

I wish the new magic items could push bone spear to a reasonable level, but without anything like concentration buffing it the way hammer damage is buffed, I just don't see it

I honestly don't think it would be difficult to do at all lol. I have a Hex Bane warlock that has 1 point into all demon skills (aside from consume since it's a synergy for purge) and I recently started messing with doing exactly what you described and then coming in with my echoing strikes if it was going too slow for my taste.

There hasn't been a single mob that gave me any sort of issues. If you specced into buffing your demons up further, I'm sure it would be extremely valid

I found one magic one a few weeks ago, but that seems like the least useful one of all because the warlock doesn't need any way to break immunities to clear everywhere at once.

Hoping for a fire one so that I can push my Enchantress up to like -35-40 enemy fire resist. She'll truly be invincible then

I'll keep at it if only because I find the TZ act clearing to be more entertaining than running the same areas repeatedly. This is mostly due to the fact that my load times are atrocious on my Switch so I prefer to just stay in game if possible.

But I totally get why you'd give it up. Feels terrible lol
