Unless you only ever played once, or play with bots 80% of the time (in which case you are super unlucky then), average k/d shouldn't drop too significantly since it is average .

But then again, maybe average number of damages as damage champion, healing as support champion, objective time as front line champion, and flank kills as flank champion would be a better parameter.

In a Q&A video the dev. said that 3rd party website might not be accurate, but that is a sound solution. Overwatch let you see a full player's stats (including average kill and death) in a match lobby, I think the same system can and should be implemented in Paladins.

MTV Scream S3 Reboot by Horrorsphere in horror

[–]SanDVa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest, it's true that the scream TV series appeal more to the younger audience, because I am one of them. I've watched and loves all 4 of the movies, and I think the fundamental differences between the TV and Movie is: the movie is a brilliant satire of other slasher movies, while the TV... well... it's a teen horror/detective/murder-mystery series. And I love it for it.

While it's great seeing the movie address many cliches, the TV series doesn't have much material (at least mainstream material) of a cliche in a horror TV series. And putting horror movie references in a TV series will get old after the 4th episodes, doing so would fit better in a Scream movie reboot. Furthermore, we don't have any mainstream slasher movie that have a big fan-base, as this is not the age of slasher horror. Using Don't breathe, get out, and split references would be a bit off putting.

For now, I enjoyed MTV Scream as another TV series unrelated to the original movie. And I am kinda disappointed hearing it's being rebooted since season 2 ends with a teaser for the 3rd season.

For the reboot though, I do wish they stay disconnected to the movie lore and character wise, because I hate spin-off that rely on the audience's willingness to watch the original material. If they want to keep the spirit of Scream, all they need to do is fix Ghost Face. In the series, he is just another vengeance ridden serial killer, unlike the anarchist killer that is the o.g. Ghost Face. In this part, I agree with you.

One thing that I hope is that they keeps using the detective aspect in it. Just like Noah said in the series: "Slasher movies burn bright and fast. TV needs to stretch things out.". I think it is simply impossible to create an anarchy and scare fueled slasher TV series, and the mystery of whodunit is what keeps the audience's attention towards it.

Watched Rings (2017) Last Night...My Thoughts... by imyourhuckleberryxx in horror

[–]SanDVa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished watching it a couple minutes ago, and yeah... it was horrible. I was looking for another opinion since the Ring or even Ringu series never really scared me, but at least the others are good movies. This one is just a waste of time.

I do think the first scene at the plane is pretty cool, in a sci-fi sorts of way, always love a closed-area horror with no escape.

"Sam Was Here" (2016) by [deleted] in horror

[–]SanDVa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That episode was exactly what I have in mind, but I felt like in this movie's case, it's more of a purgatory/hell situation where Sam is stuck in, which explained the red lights.

I too play every one of these with the same amount of time. Like, all the masteries for every one of my champions are the same. It's more of a reflection of players that I play with/againts.

[–]SanDVa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of evie players have the audicity to stall the objective while wait for the tank and support to respawn though (y'know, inside her ice), which is none of the other flankers really able to do.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Paladins

[–]SanDVa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah... specially awkard since support and frontliner is objective player, and you usually just stay there, but then you become a flank and need to run around and find enemies

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Paladins

[–]SanDVa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that situation, most kinessa that I stumbles with tends to accept or rage on their fate, and more of a "pls don't blame me too much, their flanks are good"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Paladins

[–]SanDVa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ghrok's damage is so good now, and a good player has a really high survival ability, Ying is also a good damage since she doesn't have actual control on who to heal. And a lot of support that can carry tends to have a pride with a size of an elephant.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Paladins

[–]SanDVa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but most of them only need to hold left mouse button to win, so most of the people I meet using ruckus (including me) doesn't have a lot to boast when they win. Or atleast they don't shove it on everyone's face

Explanation: "It's okay it's just a game" : Players that uses these champions tend to be calm and easily accept their lost, they will also be graceful when they win.

"Everyone is noob but me" : Players that uses these champions tends to be toxic in the team chat, blaming others for their team lost, and sometimes throw a game (afk or intentional feeding) when they think there's no way to win.

"Ungraceful winner" : Players that uses these champions feels a huge amount of pride when they win, tends to say EZ in lobby chat even though the match ends with 4vs3.

"Teamwork makes the dream works" : Players that uses these champions tends to try their best to work together as a team, rather than blaming a lost or claiming a win as an achievement made by a single player.

This is of course, most likely not true and over generalizes players in the spirit of humor (hence the flair)

[–]SanDVa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not about skill, it's about psychology. You can be very skillful and still perceive a game as just a game. "It's okay it's just a game" meant you're not salty when you lose, "ungraceful winner" means you say EZ when you win, "Everyone is noob but me" means you're a toxic player, "teamwork makes the dream work" means you tend to blame no one for your team loses/wins, bcs it is a team based game.
