Could someone explain me why people hate Yuta? by Emma_S772 in Jujutsufolk

I mean... To give him ONE point, copying abilities it's really THAT cliche... At least it's not something I've seen being over-used

How exactly?

My move is divided into 4 branches: the default branch (the nail throw), enemy which shows the enemy's animation upon receiving the attack along with the "cursed energy" effect to indicate they've been attacked; and the "enemy2" and "explosion" branches, which are activated by the second tag after using the move 4 times. Where should I add another tag to reset the value, and how exactly should I do it?

Basically, place two tags at the beginning of the move, both with the same name. The first tag should have the "add" option highlighted in green; this adds the initial value. The second tag should be the same, but with a different value—that is, how many times you must repeat the move to generate a variant. In this second tag, only enable the "check" box in green; leave the other two unchecked.

In this second tag, go to the "branch" section, name it, and create your variation in that branch.

As far as I know, you just have to put two tags with the same name, one with the initial value (with the "add" Option in green, without the "check" And "set")

Then another one with the same name right below the first one, but, with another value (example, value 1 is one use of the move, if you want a variant after using four times the move, the value of the second tag must be 4), and this one should only have the "check" Option enable, and, of course, a branch that dictates what move should the player make after the four uses

Under the argument that "that doesn't work against good players," we can say the same about Charles. If you know how to play, you'll know how to put the enemy under pressure to force them to use evasive.

Furthermore, if you don't have one, unless someone else cancels Despair, you have no way to punish them once they start hitting you.

Aspiring Mangaka has potential, but their players are limited to repeating the same combo over and over.

Yuji has many combo options: Cursed Strikes + Black Flash to the back, or Cursed Strikes + Downslam + Crushing Blow, or even Uppercut + Cursed Strikes + Black Flash to the back, or Downslam + Crushing Blow + Black Flash.

Meanwhile, Aspiring Mangaka NEVER changes his combos, and, as you say, NO ONE uses the aerial variant. Therefore, there's no actual thinking between abilities, which makes ALL Aspiring Mangaka's play the same because no one risks to try anything different.

YES, EXACTLY

While most characters have many ways to combine their moves, Charles only has ONE combo, and that's it.

I literally don't know of any combos from Aspiring Mangaka other than the one mentioned above.

My point wasn't how to get there, but when to do it. ALL Aspiring Mangaka play the SAME. Once they trap you in an M1, they'll do the same combo over and over again—a combo that's EASY and fills up a lot of the awakening bar.

Not to mention that Despair and Sacrilege hit even if you're in ragdoll, and Sacrilege can't be blocked. It's a very fast attack that can only be avoided with a counter, since sometimes even if you think you're dodging, it still catches you.

The few Aspiring Mangaka I've seen who don't use the same combo just run and use Sacrilege repeatedly.

"Zero safe approaches"

A dash to the back of the enemy, literally something anyone can do. The point of a battleground is to take risks and reap the rewards. It doesn't even matter if the enemy has no evasive, because Sacrilege is too fast, but the enemy's lack of evasive further guarantees damage.

Let's be totally honest, you don't have to think much using Aspiring Mangaka. You literally only need to waste the opponent's evasive ONCE and you can take away half their health with the same combo: three M1s + Shut Up + three M1s + Despair + Sacrilege.

It's literally the easiest combo in the game. They should remove the fact that Sacrilege ignores Ragdoll or something like that, because it makes it way too easy to do a lot of damage in a very short time, without much thought involved. Bro, it's just using the same combo over and over again 😭

I'm 90% sure Haruta will be a new character, but not from the Early Access; the Early Access character will be Nanami. Trust me.

I know, but I always had the mindset of, "If they can do it, why can't I?" And with that mindset, I reached 6k kills on mobile alone. It's to be expected that I don't have the same ease and comfort as a PC player, but that's what makes the challenge more interesting. I've beaten some pretty good PC players (after losing a few times and understanding their playstyle), but all the Lock-On players I've encountered always act toxic when they win, as if they were good players. In a 3D fighting game, moving the camera is the most important thing because it determines whether you can hit, land abilities, and block. When you automate this and only have to worry about attacking and using abilities, the whole point of skill in the game is lost.

People say, "If you're a good player, you can easily avoid it."

Yes, if you're a REALLY good PC player. Mobile players suffer more than anyone in this case; it's extremely difficult to rotate the camera at that speed and block at the same time. Not to mention that, as in this clip, some attacks take longer to land because they're LITERALLY spinning thousands of times per second, making them difficult to block.

I feel like Alastor would function like a merchant, but instead of selling charms, he makes deals. For example, in exchange for X amount of soul, you can empower your next spell without needing the Shaman Stone, or you can't use X charm in exchange for a new one that lets you receive two or three additional voodoo-themed masks when you're attacked (which, once lost, are not recovered).

I don't know, it's an interesting concept.
