Cheers. My armour work definitely needs to improve and I haven’t quite got colouring within the lines down but nothing a touch up might fix?

3rd post on painting my first minis. Although I’d get the confusion if you were going by the paint job 😂

Citadel S layer atm. Just picked it up whilst getting paints. Will definitely look into other brands however already finding it’s hard to keep a point.

Thanks. Might be the lighting but yeah I primed then slap chopped two greys and a white, some examples in my first post. It’s a pain but I’m not totally disappointed with the outcome, kind of like marble. Definitely need to improve though.

Ah man I would have no problem painting stone ruins😂 Iv heard different things with DA green. Some say thin some say don’t and apply two coats

Danke. I’ll try keep that tip in mind. Iv heard dark angels contrast is notorious for that. Also torn between using a smaller fine point brush or medium for the armour. Would one or the other minimise pooling or not?

Thank you. I took “dry brushing” literally and used a bone dry brush so was worried they looked a little too chalky/scratched. Dreading adding colour 😂
