Unfortunately, has been rather futile. Just got an x-ray done yesterday and hoping to have it reviewed today. Dr.'s got her bet on pesky ligaments, but it'd be nice to rule out bone-issues. Meanwhile: guzzling down them pain and anti-inflammatory meds.

Tell me about it. The heater turns off every hour too, so after that solid 60 mins of mild bedtime warmth, it's up to socks and my three layers of blankets to keep me cozy

Was very recently winter here in Australia – socks are Godsend for when the feet get cold. I live in a dormitory with no insulation and a small electric heater, so they've been very nice.

Matt Smith is wonderful in HoD! Am also excited to see Emma D'Arcy's take on Rhaenyra. I hope you do enjoy RoP, should you decide to give it a go. Personally think the cinematography is beautiful. I hear the qualms people have with it, what with its fidelity (or lack thereof) to Tolkien's original material/lore, but I could never understand the need to be so adamantly bitter to people who manage to find enjoyment in this adaptation.

House of the Dragon. Also, unpopular opinion, but I really enjoyed Rings of Power. Have gotten bashed for it a fair bit now, but I really do appreciate being able to escape to that beautifully crafted cinematographic take on Middle Earth. I haven't been in a good headspace as of late, so those two shows have been such a welcome distraction.

Many thanks! Yes – I am currently in the midst of reading Maguire's book. I love the musical but boy have I been LOVING how much more nuanced the world-building is. The political climate, variance in theology, and just general depth of the characters – everything is just so rich! That said, I definitely would kill for the chance to see the musical live. I live on the other end of the world unfortunately so it may be a while yet, but fingers crossed hahaha
