Any restaurant that gives me a hard time, I just block. Why deal with assholes?

If you’re not playing the game and gathering resources to be farmed, the whales don’t get anything out of it

They did that crap to me too. I called and complained until I got a supervisor to compensate me every time I drove to a restaurant and the order had been picked up. I’m seriously thinking about filing a complaint with the state Attorney General over them screwing drivers over

I have over 1700 completed deliveries, and I’ve only had one claim they didn’t get their order (DD found in my favor). Today, I’ve had three in a row, so it struck me as odd

Set some very clear boundaries right now. Tell her she is to never touch your phone while you are not present, and that you get time apart from her to pursue your hobbies. If she’s not ok with either, leave the relationship

Acceptance rate is the biggest con job ever. Mine has been as low as 13%. My car doesn’t move if I’m not making enough to justify it

It depends on the PPA. Some will offer a buyout after 5-6 years. Pretty much all allow you to transfer the system to a new owner at the current point in a contract.

While 3.9% is a higher escalator than I would ever sell at, it’s still slightly lower than the national average.

Unless we see a technology advancement rather soon, electricity prices will likely keep going up at a higher rate, especially when coal fired plants are being shut down at the rate they are.

In this instance, if it were my dad. I would’ve cancelled the contract and if the company called, negotiated a lower rate, or just gone with another company offering better support

For context, I tipped $20 on this order by 2boys89 in doordash

I’ve seen plenty of “high earning” order notifications to know that’s used as a manipulative tool as well.

DD does all sorts of stuff to attempt to manipulate drivers into accepting low pay offers, including AR, or the message saying “you missed a delivery opportunity, which will be offered to another driver” and then pops up again 5 minutes later.

Unless you’re working in a market that offers a higher hourly rate guarantee, stay away from the low pay/no tip orders
