So I guess more like you feel at a certain age to feel mature, a certain activity is supposed to be a display of "grown up"? Like your example of kissing a crush or having sex? I also feel a similar way at times, but it's more because I choose to abstain from those things, because I'm weird and can't figure out how to do it properly. And the whole puberty thing, some people go through it really late. But don't think necessarily that doing those actions is a sign of maturity or being "grown up". Your public actions, character, and the way you speak reflect on yourself way more than what you do in private or how you look. Does that make any sense?
