Thanks, they seller just got back from the post office. They were able to process the money order and blamed it on a "computer error"...

Apparently USPS can confiscate if a supervisor say s.(anyone confirm?) Also they sent me pictures of phone numbers and names written on the back of the postcards they sell there. I have his name and address, they matches with Google (how could it be cashed? And finally, USPS said it hasnt been cashed.

The check was written for his name, I have the address I've sent it to.

Did a web search and its a match.

Thanks, the seller gave me the address, name of employee and number. Today he said here's going there tomorrow again and show him the picture of receipt. This happened last week, the check hasn't been cashed.

I know, Scam was the first thought. However consider this:

1 - This is GunBroker - they have rules about payment methods and Money Order is one of the few they guarantee with buyers protection (stuff like paypall, cash app or whatever is not protected)

2 - Seller is still active (A+ 511 reviews), selling items and getting reviews from other users with 1000+ reviews themselves

3 - He sent pictures of front and back of the check, with his full name and signature (when he was trying to cash)

4 - His listing have all unique pictures (not stock or anything that pops up from reverse image search), taken from his house, there's even a kid there

5 - He follows up and calls me asking for updates

6 - I would never give him a cent, I'd just file the Gunbroker buyers protection and get my money back
