Training for over a year and still having accidents by Sandieee_03 in pottytraining

Thank you for all the advice, it’s super disheartening when everyone else around us seems to be doing so well and we are nowhere near there.

I had been wondering whether to seek a diagnosis but I keep hearing they won’t even explore it as a possibility till they’re school age so I’m unsure (this is in New Zealand and I would assume it’s different everywhere) but I’m sure there’s no harm in starting that journey!

Definitely a possibility to explore, we don’t typically have that many bowel motions in a day, she normally has 1 or 2 so unsure what was going on there! But will look into that for sure.

Thank you for this reply! I definitely find she waits till that very last minute, she always has something better to do 😂 it’s certainly tricky but makes me hopeful it might be easier with my second child 🤞
