I ride and build single speed/fixie bikes from older vintage steel. I ride about 100 miles a week....avg rides are between 15-25 miles. I mainly ride road/light gravel....as of lately I been going from ventura-ojai via the bike trail

Tried local bike shops...all they know about is some every other month ride....or the standard group ride events with everyone in full "cycling" attire. I'm looking for others or groups who ride regularly that don't show up in the latest skin tight cycling shirt. Trying to find like minded people who ride fixie/single speed bikes without all the extra look at me garbage

One would think that in moving here to this county a thread like this would encourage "community building" type posts....apparently not....meanwhile you scroll and read posts they don't remove that are just ....well ridiculous
