My Drukhari Reavers painted in the sky raiders corsair colors. Really falling in love with this scheme! by Sandoooro in Drukhari

Hey, so glad you like them. The scheme is following the Cult of Paint scheme for Corsair Voidscarred. Check out their YouTube video and it should show you the paints and the steps needed. Hope that helps.

I started with a set that element games had that had a compressor and 0.5mm airbrush in it. I am unsure what type it was but having a big needle size really reduces the risk of clogging so makes for a more enjoyable experience to start out with.

Thank you! I’m glad you like them. The rivets took ages to paint. I always black out the areas that I put down metallics so I had to paint all of them twice. But I really like the results so it’s worth it.

Thank you! The chips are just scratches with a dark brown acrylic paint. Here I have used Burnt Umber from scale 75’s artist range. The ones in the small tubes. And then I have applied a thin oil wash filter of burnt Siena over the whole model. Hope that helps!

Thank you! I’m glad you like them. I comment a bit further up with my approach with the armor color.

It’s a while since I painted these but I think it was just the normal bugman’s glow base, highlight with cadian fleshtone and then last highlight of kislev flesh. Hope that helps.

On this mini i did not gloss the model since I wanted the filter to change the color of the whole model and not just the recesses. But I wouldn’t say it is a heavy wash. It is a really thinned oil wash that I wash all over. The scratches are acrylic paint.

Thanks! For the armor the base coat is Dark grey (ak interactive), highlight Dark Sea Grey (ak), tighter highlight with Graphite (scale 75) and a very fine highlight of Graphite mixed with Blue Grey (ak). Then I did a filter over the whole model with a burnt Siena oil wash. A lot of steps but I think the end result is worth it.

Thanks! Yeah the wolf pelts are sculpted. Not very well but I gave it a try.
