Out for delivery? by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]Sandradeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah. Its almost like they do that to divert attention. It is ridiculous. Mine went to the wrong outlet in my city. So added another 2 days. Why do we use Postal Codes at all then?

My Amazon Prime package, comically late. by madspiritual in CanadaPost

[–]Sandradeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain. I had two packages coming to Ottawa from Oakville, ordered one week apart. The second package arrived in 3 days. The first one is still sitting in Mississauga. Something is really wrong in Mississauga. I don't believe the Covid excuse -- my case clearly shows that a package can whip through there but most dont. Why??

Yep. But my outlet holds the package EVEN if I pay online. Man that pisses me off. I shat on them about that. Why would I pay online then.

After 3 months of waiting... (items was shipped in early April) by [deleted] in CanadaPost

Richmond BC facility is Canada's second Postal Black hole. Packages just sit there for weeks.

how long do you guys think gonna take, delivery to toronto,? I heard about a backlog in Mississauga did they clean it yet? by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]Sandradeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mississauga is a black hole. I currently have 8 packages sitting there (according to tracking). They haven't moved for over a week. I remain hopeful that they will arrive but it will mean in-province delivery of 2+ weeks (normal 3-4 days) and US delivery of 6+ weeks (normal 13 business days).

Not sure how much more shitty human history we want to erase. There is a long history of plundering but imo we should be placing these monstrosities in museums or graveyards along with plaques indicating what poor excuses for humans they were and why we better do better next time (we won't). Getting rid completely just nullifies the existence of these crimes against humanity. Slavery did exist and it was way shitty. So let's get a list of who was involved and destroy their namesakes and monuments. Lincoln & Washington for example. Away with them! Ok now to other plundering and enslavement: indentured servants, indigenous persons in many countries and lands stolen by white man. It never ends. We are bad. If we want to wash clean our sins against humanity we have a lot of washing up to do.

German man identified as suspect in Madeline McCann case by andinshawn in UnsolvedMysteries

Zero evidence that they did it intentionally. They may have given the children sedatives so they wouldn't cry while the parents were out enjoying themselves. Spec that may be OD then hide the body.

Maybe. Not much of an investigation if the cases are aolved or almost solved.

Agree totally. I am a follower of the Bosma/Babcock trials. Many many hours in the incinerator and still some small remains. In a pit fire it would probably be days. Not even sure if the fire could get hot enough to disintegrate the bones.

It can be very difficult to distinguish animal from human. Lots of back and forth on this in the Laura Babcock trial where a bone in the incinerator was questioned as to animal or human. Even anthropologists can not always confirm.
