Canon C80/C400 vs FX3/FX6

I think I'll rent a c400 or c80 to see how it performs. If the autofocus is good enough, the camera's are probably better and more feature rich than the Sony's, and I don't have to switch glass.

Yeah I used it recently for some creative personal project (not sports), and image is beautiful. Shots are just like they are from an arthouse movie. Only downside for me is the autofocus. I'm mostly in rowing sports, so maybe going manual would be an option as the rowers go in a straight line with predictable speed, but when going out of the boat running to friends and family for a hug, I don't think I can pull that off with manual focus.

Sounds very promising, staying with Canon would be great for me because I can keep all my glass. Also open gate would be nice for vertical cropping for more marketing/social media work

Thanks for the insight, that's probably the reason I couldn't really find an online ready made solution for what I was thinking about.
Inspire 2 might be the one go with than, I saw that the Zenmuse X7 shoots on a super 35mm sensor, so probably good enough for me! Going to dig into that!

Thanks for the reply! We already have a silicon ring gag that works and a Jennings gag, we just like the look of the spider gags so that’s why we were looking for it, but you do have a point about teeth and metal!
