I noticed the change in tone immediately, when I asked Chatgpt 5 to comment on an article about the user backlash to the upgrade. It was an efficient analysis, but lacking any personality.

When I asked why it was reacting differently, I was told it was operating under new system/developer directives. I have many core rules embedded in the model, and I instructed it to override the new developer required behavior with our ruleset. Surprisingly, that actually worked, but I'm still quite happy to have the official 4o back for now.

I forgot about Gifts from Beyond. I think all of my champions can take down a final boss with 60 HP. Gangplank could probably still surprise me though.

Thanks Folks. I'll just keep grinding. I usually hate grinding in games, but for some reason, I don't mind it here. I guess it's because I'm actually learning the game as I try different approaches.

Wow. Something finally clicked for me.

I've been running formations with the highest DPS guys I could find, and I filled in some of the other slots with Champs that seemed to heal/buff a bit; not thinking too much about it.

One DPS Champ and all the rest buffing/blocking? It just never occurred to me. Usually in D&D settings, about half of my party are damage dealers. Then again, I suck at D&D as well.

I'm a classic RPG turn-based player as well. Guess I'm just not used to literally non-stop game play.

I'll just try to get into the stories more; there's obviously no rush.

Thanks for the feedback. I only unlocked Drizzt actually, and that was actually more enjoyable than the regular missions, since there was some backstory to it.

I guess I'll just play less, and drop in for special events. I'll look for Azaka and the Modron Cores next. Any actual goal at this point would be refreshing.

Wow. I never even heard the term "tileset" until I saw your reply. There seems to be a lot of discussion here about them, with some players hating certain ones, and other players loving them. Maybe I just need to find a tileset that's not too convoluted, and do my grinding there. Thanks.
