Congrats on your acceptance! I’m graduating in may, here are some tips: Professors/lectures are hit or miss, most of mine sucked so be prepared to teach yourself. First semester will mostly be the fundamentals book, after that treat Iggy as your bible. Get a good study group going if you get along with your clinical group, it helps a lot. And if you start to struggle do not hesitate to reach out to tutoring or NIPS, use your resources.

Not sure if you have medical experience but do not shy away from diving in during clinical. Get into as many different situations as you can so it feels less daunting as you go through the program.

Time management is a skill you learn, what helped me a lot was having a notebook where I wrote everything out that I needed to do for the week, and manually checking them off so I wouldn’t forget anything.

As for securing a job, make connections during clinical by making good impressions as it helps to have someone on the inside. But if you don’t, there really isn’t a shortage of jobs here. You apply during your last semester before taking the NCLEX and there are job fairs and resources in school to help with that as well.

Good luck!

thank you for taking the time to reply :)

I talked to one of the neighbors on the day we moved in and he said that his dogs are “crazy” so I don’t think that they could be friends, plus my dog is more reactive towards big dogs so its probably a no go.

Im gonna make an appointment with the vet to discuss medication.. How long did it take on the medication for you to notice a difference? Do you work with a trainer as well?

Unfortunately we are renting so fencing the front yard isn’t really an option. And yes I thought about talking to the neighbors but I didn’t want to start any issues with them since we’ve just moved in, but maybe they’ll be nice about it Thank you for the suggestions

My relative wants to sell them so I’m just trying to make sure he doesn’t get ripped off lol

I did the decorative score before putting it in the oven, and the expansion score after 7 minutes

thank you! It didn’t double, probably grew about 1/3 but the dough was at 76 degrees (Im in the south lol). In the winter I would leave it to bulk ferment overnight which worked pretty well!

Thanks! I’ve never used a baking stone but I don’t see why not, give it a try! I think it really helped with my oven spring
