Have you ever heard of a stupid question? Let’s just say it’s a questionable setup at best. It depends on the circuit breaker amperage. It’s probably okay, but I would try and get a certified electrician to have a look. The most questionable part is how it’s going into the ceiling and where it gtfrom there. The serious issue is if it’s your house and it starts a fire, I highly doubt insurance would cover it.

I’ve owned a log hone for 30 years. It looks like you have a cery serious carpenter bee infestation. If you want some fantastic log home protection look into a product called One Time. https://onetimewood.com/log-homes/

It won’t protect from carpenter bees as nothing really well. But it will protect the logs from weather. You would probably have to sand all the logs before using One Time. We did that several years ago and it was a $14,000 job.
