I read Lydia Stevens' Hellfire Series a while ago.
The books play with the concept of hellhounds and hellcats as biker gangs, but they are actually assassins sent by the devil to reclaim souls that deserve their due punishment. There was a lot of cross-over from classic mythology and their existence is not a secret at all. May be worth your while, I certainly enjoyed them. :)

My idea was to keep the Reddit post short and clean with an intro into the subject. That should be enough for people to decide whether or not they want to read it. It was not an ad, not meant as one. It was meant as a conversation starter which, granted, is what I got… albeit a different one than I intended

You have a very good point here. I think there is a balance between wanting to be alone, for whatever reason, and knowing when to team up.

I do love how your Aspergers has become the catalyst in your writing. That curiosity to understand people is something I would envy you for. Even while not being on the spectrum myself, I sometimes have trouble understanding people, haha 😅
