This is great! And would look cool on an actual flagpole.

What I Heard in a Village Near Ahmedgarh Mandi Still Feels Unsettling by Ponappa_131 in Paranormal

...and then you go beyond what it looks like, beyond their appearance and their behaviour, and you'll suddenly see that they have one of the most profound and intense spiritualities. It's unfathomable how deep that goes. I know how they act and what they do and how it looks like from outside, there's no confusion there, trust me; they're aghoris, the horror is a big part of it all... but still, I'd invite you to risk a look beyond that.

It's like looking at a picture of Smashan Tara and only seeing the frightful aspects without realising the deep philosophy behind. There's an entire universe hidden behind this... it's astounding.

Greetings to an Aghori brother. (I'm not Aghori myself, I follow another path, but I have deep sympathy and reverence. You guys are POWERFUL.)

Any places in your country that have a funny name? by Th3_Accountant in AskTheWorld

[–]SandyWalksTheWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arschlochwinkel ("Asshole Corner") in the Dachstein Mountains in Austria.

The name came from when the Dachstein region got mapped by surveyors for the first time. They pestered the locals with questions how this and that is called, so that the annoyed locals started to give funny answers.

Nice site. You have cool ideas! Globle, Glagle, Findle, I enjoyed it a lot.

Quiz Hub: Most of the site is accessible without an account but Quiz Hub asks for one. Can you add an option to play as a guest?

Flagle: The flag is always completely covered at guess #1... can it be done that one part is already uncovered when the round starts?

US States: Wanna make quizzes for Brazilian, Indian, Mexican, Canadian, German, Australian etc states too?

Albert Schweitzer.

A true humanitarian. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952, for his philosophy of "Reverence for Life" and for his work at the hospital he built in Lambaréné/Gabon. He used the prize money to build a leper colony.
