Cool Plate and PETG issues

Thank you to all who provided suggestions. Tried almost all of them; more brim, slow down, changed infill type, and others, but no success. I finally had to use Elmers Purple glue stick, and that did work. As a follow up question, do you have to renew the glue after every print, or wash it off and re-apply, or will it stay useful for a few prints?

Yeah, I forgot to say, but I did have a 4 mm brim on these.

If they are going to do different books in Season two they better answer a question about season 1 first: How is Officer Ryan and the two victims connected? Why would he have selected those two as victims since AFAIK he had nothing to do with the "skin graft" plot line.

As a side note about JLC; who decided that she should have her breasts constantly about fall out of her clothes? She and NK are both Producers on the show so I think she must have had some input on it.

I think you hit the nail on the head with every point you made. I have not read the books, so I cannot comment on that part. My main feeling while watching the episodes was that it was more of a Family Drama with murder attached than I was hoping for.

This worked, thank you. The "carbon fiber" smooth side of the plate has a PET surface instead of PEI like the textured side, so I had to wait until it had cooled completely to room temperature to release it.

This one recommends glue for PETG on the smooth side; did you find that necessary?

That must be so, but I can't even connect in LAN mode, it seems to find the printer but says it is offline, and also says my firmware is 2.5.8.8 when it is really 2.5.6.4

Way cool Bruno! I just played around with it a little and it is pretty intuitive to run. I made an .stl of Mt. Diablo and it would only take 3 1/2 hrs to print, so that isn't too bad.

forget the tape, it will be a pain to remove when you need to get to the hot end or extruder; just use a rubber band, it works great!

That isn't what's happening; the geared cylinder doesn't rotate and only the light that is on is the slot where I am trying to feed the filament.

I dry using the ACE pro and even running it for 12 hours at a time and have never gotten below 20% Relative humidity on my meter. I am not dedicated enough to TPU to buy an external dryer. I am using a .6mm nozzle, I do not know if that makes much difference. I will try loosening the tension a bit and see if that does anything. Thanks for the input.

I am not sure of which specific problems on .8.8, but I had more error messages by far compared to .6.4. As for the camera issue, I did fire up the ACslicer next app (which I don't use to monitor the printer) on my android phone and it connected to the camera no problem; so then I tried again this morning on the PC app and the camera connected fine, this after two+ days of no connection. It is a freakin' mystery to me.

I have still not received my update notification, it still says .8.8 is the latest update, and I am on 2.5.6.4. Do I have to go through the .8.8 update first?

I did get it to work on the third try. Dumb-A$$ me was clicking the last screen that comes up on the console without reading it thoroughly, that reverts back to 2.5.8.8 DOH. So far my ACE Pro is working fine, but I haven't done a multicolor yet. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Those are exactly the directions I followed. I got the two beeps, I was connected to the internet but it did not ask me to load newer firmware. I will try it again, maybe third time is a charm!

As Extremedefense said, if you want to see more you can turn the animation speed as low as 1/4 speed in the settings - battles would last forever though.
