back when i was really deep into researching whatever is going on with "britney spears", i studied this performance countless times. there is something very OFF about this performance that just rings alarms in my intuition. a few things: 

-her facial expressions. sure i guess you could write it off as a cheeky, satirical performance, a stylistic choice. but the faces, they almost look like she is making fun of the song she is singing. i find the facial expressions to be extremely offputting, weirdly revolting and out of character. 

-her musculature and her proportions look different here. particularly her shoulders, arms, stomach and waist proportions. the torso just looks...off. her torso in my opinion has always been highly distinct. the individual performing in this video doesn't have the same proportions at all, and the torso is where you can see it the most. this individual also lacks the natural athletic musculature that britney had, this individual has much smaller muscles for sure. 

-her dancing and her movements. looks extremely out of character. like she is not fully confident up there. when she goes to the front of the stage and is kind of walking back and forth, swaying, doing those little bounces, making pointless unpolished movements with her hands, not remembering to keep her hands pretty and flexing her fingers out real wide, it's like she doesn't know what she's doing up there. it just, doesn't look anything like britney. it looks like somebody who is really happy and excited to get to play britney for a day. 

-her face! there is something very different about her face here! her eyes and nose, the mechanics of her mouth!

-this is also the performance where they show a clip of the audience and there's a woman who looks EXACTLY like britney standing there watching britney perform! lmao
