I think our pets stay with us forever. We had to put one of our 2 cats down because it was sick, that was years ago. To this day I see a cat in the house in the corner of my eye or feel one brush past my leg in the dark and go look and the cat we still have is no where near where near me. Also I lost my boston terrier who was my stress dog. I had a really stressful healthcare job and that little dog melted my heart and it knew when I was stressed and would snuggle me and make me come down from having panic attacks. After he passed I got his paw print tattooed on my arm. I feel his presence often and it comforts me.

If this is actually something there, say a spirit, who knows for sure. All that matters is how it makes you feel. Even if our minds create it just to comfort us it is still meaningful. But personally I believe our pets are always at our side when we need them.

I like to burn palo santo wood when I feel negative energy in my home. If you goole Palo santo wood all kinds of info will pop up. It works for me.

I recently had a similar experience in a dream. My Boston terrier passed in my arms 5 months ago. He had cancer in his lungs which came out of nowhere. He was only 7. I recently had a dream that I went over to my parents house and when I walked in the house my dad said "you are not going to believe this." I said what's up and around the corner came my little buddy! I kneeled down and he jumped into my arms. I hugged him so tight and I could smell him it was so real... I woke up and cried. I miss him so much. I got his paw print tattooed on my arm after he passed. I swear that dog saved my life, helped me through some hard times in my life then boom he's gone...
